Espn Week 4 Power Rankings

Looks like these are looking more appropriate. Although to be honest, the first 5 teams could really go either way.

Is anyone putting stock into these power rankings?

Part of me is happy to see the Ravens finally get some credit. The other part of me hates the media for being so fickle... Whoever wins that weekend is the "real deal."

The whole thing just seems sort of pointless to me... it's like seeing the "experts" do their mock drafts - somebody is going to trade in the top 10 picks and then those months of speculation mean nothing.

But yeah, we look like the best team in the league. Lets hope it stays that way.

Not until after Week 6. This is just too early in the season to make any real assessment.

I'm more surprised that the Redskins somehow still rank above the Lions [img]http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/public/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif[/img]
The lions won head-to-head and have been competitive in all their games. The Redskins have not.

I like to look at these because they are the only rankings in the NFL unlike in college, I try not to think to much of them, I like to brag about it and all but its not all that serious, I love that we're number one, but i'm having trouble believing that the Pats are seven after the one loss this season, and a close win over the Bills in week 1, but I'll give them credit for the big win over the Falcons though.

The only ranking that matters is the one at the end of the year. Where was the 2000 Super Bowl team this time that year? Doesn't matter... Whoever is standing at the end of the year.

There's the champion then everyone else.

I would personally rather hide in the top 10 but #1 is where the 2010 Super Bowl Champs belong. We will win the Super Bowl!

I'm a Ravens junkie. The bottom line is that for this team to be "that" team, they have to beat the likes of San Diego, New England and Steelers, to name a few. I like the idea of the high ranking, but at this point in the season, I don't take too much stock in it. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed what I've seen and said that they are the best to my group of friends. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that this isn't a fluke.
