What a coincidence! The Ravens and Patriots just happen to be playing two days later. I'll bet that audience record has nothing to do with this...

Hell I just set up to record on my DVR. I'm going to relive the moments in High Definition. Watch Rex make the timeout. Watch Bart Scott Lose it. I'm looking forward to it.

You can't fear the past. It was still a fun game to watch. Heartbreaking, nevertheless.

I was afraid for the Pats following that game for their own safety  They probably had to be really really careful leaving Baltimore. Man that game had me yelling at the tv like never before. We actually had an offense that game! I was like... wow. We're gonna win! and then.. well you know what happened <_<

Why would I spend three hours watching a game I know we "lose"?
Exactly! I Rather watch the whole game Superbowl XXXV on NFL Network then that Pats game.

When I saw the commercial the other day for the replay I started crying and went into the fetal position for a few hours. All better now though.

I may watch that game just to see McGahee juke Junior Seau out of his shoes. It was an entertaining game but it was two years ago and both teams are VERY different now.

Actually, until the final 2 minutes that game was very entertaining to watch. D played great, as did the offense. Kyle throwing that needless pick turned the game somewhat and the timeout was unfortunate to say the least.

I'm over that one now though. The fact that NE lost the one game that counted that season actually helped with the pain of this loss.

The stadium sure was rocking that night.

Was that the game where bart scott picked up the ref's flag and threw it?
Yep pushed us back 15 yards on kickoff.

Looking forward to watching it all again in HD. It's part of the Ravens history now. Painful yes. Memorable Nevertheless.

Maybe if they replay the game again in 20 years. Many more people on here would be inclined to watch the good 'ole days.

probably one of the best games ive ever watched.
Its differnt now though. Ngata is more of a force. We have pryce for this game and our offense is a million times better.

Great game none the less which i hate to think about as it is just to hard to think about it lol

Ouch. I had forgotten about this article, but since we're already on the topic, here is CHFF's review of the game:

"New England won on this Monday night for the very same reason the organization and its coach are most often criticized: their Cold, Hard, icy and utterly emotionless approach to the game of professional football. The Patriots, at least publicly, treat football with the same inevitable yet phlegmatic melancholy that a North Atlantic iceberg treats the Titanic.

When the game was on the line, in front of a hostile crowd on a cold, howling night when they couldn’t even stop one of the worst offenses in football and their big-name pass-catchers dropped a pair of TD tosses, the Patriots remained stoically devoted to the task at hand.

And the Ravens?
The choleric, sanguine, passionate, fire-and-brimstone, wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve preachers of pigskin from Baltimore?
They melted down like the nuclear core of a Russian submarine.

Here is the anatomy of the emotional shipwreck that cost Baltimore a chance to end New England's quest for history and an opportunity to win over the bleeding hearts of American football fans:

For everyone who DOES watch this replay:

Take note of how easily we ran on them.

THEN... take note of how Billick decided that he was going to prove he is smarter than everyone by letting his project Kyle Boller throw the ball, when we were in field goal range, in the lead, and the run game couldn't be stopped.

Sorry, but I will never be able to forget that. I don't blame the timeout. I don't blame the officials(although I could), and I don't blame Bart Scott. I feel the game turned on that Boller throw(and on the idiot who actually called for a pass).

I was proud of the way the teams played that game. It was how I knew that season was all about injuries and the core was still there. I still remember the smug look on a pats fan at the train station the next morning and saying I was glad they stayed in it until the bitter end. And him saying "well if that works for you".

There's still little chance I'd watch that again.

I'll watch this weeks game again on NFL Replay when the D and O scare the rest of the NFL crapless.

"Uh Oh, Ravens have an offense..."
