Just got text from ESPN Mortensen reporting Chad Pennington expected to miss rest of season due to torn capsule in shoulder.

I don't know. But that was in his throwing shoulder. He could be done for his career. Didn't he have surgery on his throwing shoulder before. That was the year before he won Comeback Player of the Year.

Never a good sight to watch his Jersey and Pads getting cut off to get to his throwing shoulder. I saw it when they were doing it, the look on his face was "It's Over".

I think so. He's won the comeback player of the year twice, and one of them (or both) was related to a shoulder injury. Poor guy; he gets hurt like every other year.

Well wasn't Chad going to benched for 2010 in favor of Henne? I remember reading that Pennington was going to be the QB this year but Chad Henne was going to take over full time in 2010. If they have a top 10 draft spot they could go for one of the Qbs coming out next year.

I think the fact that they are 0-3 alone is reason that their season is pretty much over.

Well ooks like the jets will clinche their division and go to the playoffs because they will for sure crush the Bills and now will crush the Dolphins, and since they ahve already beaten the Pats once and now the Titans....Its looking good for Rex and his new team.

I hope we meet them in the AFC Divisional playoffs.

It would be his 3rd surgery on the same shoulder (previously 04 & 05)! Hard to come back from that, especially since it's his throwing shoulder.

There's another report that it may just be a dislocation though, I guess we won't know for sure until Chad or the Dolphins comment on the injury themselves.

I don't want to face the Jets in the Playoffs. I cannot stand Ryan since he became head coach of the Jets, his attitude is annoying and nothing that comes out of his mouth is intelligent as of late. I can only imagine what he'd have to say if he were to face us in the Playoffs. God, he'd be singing the praises of Sanchez forever and a day. He needs to be knocked back down to Earth.

I'm sorry to hear about Pennington though. As much as I really don't [i]like[/i] the Phins, it was nice to see Pennington get cut by the Jets (in favor of Old Man Favre) and go else where to shine.
