haha your comedic response was great thanks for the chuckle.

now i don't think pitt is in to much trouble yet anyway yes they lost to chicago (not that bad of a team),and an improved Bengals team. It's still early and yes they are 1-2 but i still think it will be us and them fighting it out for top honors when we meet twice late in the season.

We're shooting ourselves in the foot because we can't finish (or a kicker has a bad day or a #3 WR can't hold onto the $%^& ball). The O-Line has been good, Willie Parker got going this week and Ben has been solid; our defense has been pedestrian though thus far. We'll see what happens. It's still early.

Good point Warden if Reed didn't have an off day the Steelers would have beat the Bears.Did you guys start talking bout calling in Stover after that game to?Bad days happen and yeah i saw a few dropped passes during that Bengal game I hope you guys turn around because a trench fight with the Bengals isn't as fun. I respect the Steelers I don't the Bengals,specially after whosurmama left.

Some fans were talking about Stover, but for Tomlin to call Reed in on a 52 yarder yesterday (when he should have pooch punted on 4th and 4), tells me he has all the confidence in the world in his kicker.

To be honest, I have complete confidence in a turn-around. Then again, I've seen them suffer the SB hangover before too. If we do end up turning it around though, you guys may regret not taking advantage of playing us in week one as I think the Ravens probably would have beaten us. Now we have until Novemeber to get things together. Could benefit us....unless we're just going to suck and then it won't matter.

Yea, but I'll give ya the present facts which are just that:
The Ravens are 3-0 and have looked good getting there.
The Steelers are 1-2 and while they could easily have been 3-0 also, they have not performed sharply enough to deserve those other two wins.

I honestly can't nail down the reason for it. It's not our O-Line or necessarily our running game and while having Polamalu back would be a plus, that one position can't be held responsible either. I don't know what needs fixin' other than the mentality of finishing a 60 minute ball game.

I aint gonna start gloating about the Steelers predicament after only 3 weeks! It normally comes back to haunt you if you get a little too cocky.

Though I must say, I couldn't have pictured a better start to the season!

It goes like anything else. On Ravens Ray Lewis is the star on Defense. Flacco is the star on offense. On the Steelers Big Ben is the star on offense and Troy is the star on defense. When your big star goes down youre screwed.

Both Ben and Troy have gone down in the past and we've won. There's more to it than that with regards to what we're experiencing. True, Troy has a big impact on how an offense will attack us, and for that reason we may have suffered a little. The sole reason we're not winning though? I'm not convinced.

The funny thing is, I tried about ten times to sim the Bengals game and the CPU refused the let the Bengals win.

Like some others here, I'm certainly not counting the Steelers out. And, yes, I thought about the Ravens not wanting to play the Steelers first and while I think it was the right decision, it could end up biting us in the butt.
