The play of the Ravens in the past two games has been totally embarrassing and completely inexcusable.

Completely agree!! I think it is time for a serious look at some serious changes during this offseason... Maybe Schotenhiemer wants a job in B-more!

True. It's moments like these, though, where I question my loyalty.

But at the end of the day, I can't say I'm truly heartbroken. I'm already past that point, after having literally thrown up during the Steelers game on Monday night.

I still love the team, even though they can't love us back. The closest thing to love they can give back to us fans is winning. And not everyone can win every game, and it's up to us as fans to accept that.

It's like any relationship in real life. There'll be tough times, and days will be bleak. But at the end, all you can really do is support them just as they've given you comfort in your own tough times. They've provided an escape for us and given us smiles (as well as frowns) on Sundays and Monday nights, and the least we can do is continue to support them even when they're down.

I am a fan who just wants to discuss the game and talk about football. Please keep personal comments to the personal reply. Write each other to your hearts content on the private messages, but please don't clutter up the general posting area with personal attacks on each other..... thank you

Steve fumbles AGAIN!! 11 turnovers this season by 1 person! Sweet..... Maybe Marvin Lewis and Carson Palmer would like to move to Baltimore!!

FIRE MCNAIR!

man after watching them since 96 and they won the superbowl in 2000....and making the playoffs 2 or 3 times only to lose in the first round every single one of those times you get frustrated......no quarterback whatso ever in our entire existence as a football team.....the owners doing nothing about it but getting old washed up quarterbacks.....U GET FRUSTRATED !!! same combination every season great defense no offense...and now that this defense is getting old....most of them will retire not too long from now....then when they do.....how long will it bee until we see another winning season...or even a superbowl title!?!?

FIRE MCNAIR!

For the record, you can't fire a QB...it's not like it's a corporate exec position or anything like that, even though it IS the only position other than Center that touches the ball on virtually every play...but I get the gist, though.

BENCH MCNAIR (is that better?! :) )

Kyle under center!!! I would love for him to get a touchdown drive. Maybe we can put this QB QUESTION to bed today and let kyle play the rest of the season.

Yes, much better. :P

I'll laugh, though, if it's neither Boller nor McNair that plays the rest of the season, but Troy Smith instead. LOL

Not gonna happen, though. Well, SHOULDN'T happen, anyway. They can't afford to mess up Smith's development by throwing him in the fire too soon like they did with Boller.

Are we about to set another NFL worst record such as "Worst shutout at home with the opposing team only scoring field goals?"

These past two games have been the Raven's version of the 30-9 beating the Orioles took this past season.

I've always liked Kyle Boller. I feel bad for him because of the situation he's been put in since acquisition and the poor grooming by the Ravens organization. If it had been done right, Steve McNair wouldn't be on the roster right now.

Kyle is executing with the same personnel minus Heap and is at least moving the team until the INT. We are cursed!

Damn! INT. well, I guess it wasn't to be for Kyle either today... Of course he has come in in crappy situations all year.

i'm speechless

boller also turns the ball over?

lets put billick in as QB!!! and let the line let everyone come through...

wow.....how many turnovers...

geez...

same situation all year we get our offense goin and then a fumble or a int......i thought the opposing team is supposed to shut the crowd up....we're not supposed to do it to ourselves

Why do the Bengals get a pass by the announcers for their poor depth at LB, yet the Ravens are getting roasted for lack of DB's and corners.

note that all these turnovers are coming against the 31st ranked defense....twice this year that we've done this....we actually make their team look good

why did boller get back in?

i though Billick was next?

You have to admit, though, this was to be expected.

After a 13-3 season, the odds were against us to repeat with that good of a record, or anything close to it.

We've never won the division title in back-to-back years, and now that I think about it, we've only had two consecutive winning seasons (2003 and 2004, with 10-6 and 9-7 records, respectively), but we didn't make the playoffs in one of those years (2004). So...in theory, IF we win out, (assuming the score holds), the best we can do is 11-5 (which probably won't happen), but we can still miss the playoffs.

In all likelihood, with 4 losses in the division, we won't make the playoffs even with a wildcard berth, regardless of our overall record. But there are still enough chances for us to smile ahead.

Imagine how great it'd be to play spoiler against the Steelers somehow in terms of playoff seeding and take away their homefield advantage. Or how great it'd feel to miraculously ruin the Patriots' run at an undefeated season on Monday Night Football. Or how sweet it'll feel to give the Colts a loss in Baltimore on Sunday Night Football in front of a national audience.

It's those games that I'll continue to look forward to, no matter the outcome. Well, unless we get annihilated again like this past Monday night. Then I'd like to hold my dinner down, thanks. ^_^
