Holy crap! Even the announcer thinks steve needs to be pulled! Why is it our coach is the only one who can't figure this out?! Cincy is 2nd to last agains the run and we throw 26 passes and 18 runs? Is he mental?!

Last season, the playcalling was virtually the same in the latter half of the season. And I don't remember anyone complaining THEN...

If you think about it, though, if the plays were being executed properly, then no one would be complaining.

But when pass plays don't work, people question why the ball isn't being run more. But when the run gets shut down, people question why there weren't more passes.

In recent years, the playcalling has become more balanced like people have wanted for a while. There were complaints that the playbook doesn't have any vertical pass plays, so Billick incorporated more pass plays into there. Now there's complaints that there's no straightforward run plays, and yet, those plays were inserted in there.

Whenever something doesn't work, people always want something else. Yes, that's basic human logic. But at the same time, there's times when the flaw exists not in a hidden meaning, but in what's so obvious.

In this case, it's just obvious the execution isn't there. To analyze the playcalling is to look for deeper meaning where there is none.

That's not to say that Billick is perfect. But to place all the blame on HIM is ludicrous, when I'm pretty sure there's no designed QB scramble for a fumble thrown in there, nor a tipped pass for an interception. 'Cause if there is, then defensive coordinators not named Rex Ryan must LOVE him.

The Ravens should not be losing this game. Steve McNair has past his prime as proven this season and especially in the past two games. He needs to go. I don't understand why Billick (a suppossed offensive genius) waits until it's near impossible to mount a comeback before he pulls McNair. The Rex Grossman syndrome has infected Baltimore.

The play of the Ravens in the past two games has been totally embarrassing and completely inexcusable.
