Houshmanzadeh is a hothead, period. He may have done great charity work, so I won't knock his character off-the-field, but when it comes to football-related matters (in the game, during interviews, etc.), he needs to calm down. If it weren't for Chris Henry and Odell Thurman, I'd be calling HIM the selfish one on the team, NOT Chad Johnson, by any means.

That pick was indicative of our entire season.

We get so close, but only have our hopes come crashing back down to reality, sadly.

But not complaining about the drive, other than the end.

Nice catches made by Clayton (good to hear his name called again), nice involvement of Todd Heap, and mostly smart throws made by Steve McNair.

RUN THE BALL! JESUS CHRIST RUN THE BALL!

We would've ran the ball had our clock management been slightly better and we didn't use that final timeout.

But, with less than 30 seconds left and no timeouts remaining, too much time can get run off if it's stuffed at the line.

Frankly, the fact that Heap almost had both those TD passes thrown towards him makes me OK with the decision to pass instead of run, even though the end result was a tipped ball for a pick.

i'm a whole lot more comfortable running it with Mcgahee on the 2 than Mcnair passing it.

True, but I only said I was comfortable with the call because Musa Smith was back there, not McGahee. I don't trust Musa Smith with the ball much these days, no offense to him.

Well here is a hell of a question. Why wasn't McGahee on the field in a critical situation?

i got a question,

im a big ravens fan, but i don't agree with the play calls in the red zone by Billick

if its 2nd and 1 on the two why would you throw it twice?

all you need to do is run, that's why we brought in Willis,

So why don't we use him?

Because if you give willis more than 12 carries in a half he dies of exhaustion. <_<

The reason McGahee was not in the backfield during that portion of the drive when we were in the redzone is because:

1) He's not typically our short-yardage back (not that this fact was relevant for the redzone, but still)

2) He was in there most of the drive, and was winded, so he went to the sideline and let Musa Smith spell him.

Simple as that.

And considering how hard McGahee has run all game, I'm not gonna complain if he wants to take a breather for a play or two. At least he's not walking off the field like Randy Moss did a few years ago.

And BTW...that McNair fumble = Boller time. If not, then we're in for a long game.

It may have been incidental, but doesn't matter. He still coughed it up, sadly.

I said it before, and I'll say it again.

Chris Henry SHOULD NOT be playing in this game.

How does one go about getting in trouble AGAIN after JUST coming off suspension? Charged or not (sounds unconstitutional, I know), to put yourself in that position to even be SUSPECTED or ACCUSED of anything is INEXCUSABLE.

Playing in the league is a PRIVILEGE.

I'm not sure if we can come back from this

No, the more appropriate time to say that was on Monday night after the Ed Reed fumble jarred by James Harrison's spear into his back. Which then led to even more TD's on top of the two already scored by Pittsburgh.

A 9-0 deficit isn't much to struggle with. Better than a 21-0 deficit, that's for sure.

We've got no one but ourselves to blame for this game so far. Steve has looked better, but really, we can't turn it over anymore. He is responsible once again for all of our turnovers today. The D looks amazing, but can't play the whole game and can't be relied on to score. Especially twice now. The whole team needs an overhaul. 71 penalities this season!? Nice work. QB leads the league in fumbles lost. Awesome. Put in Kyle....

Holy crap! Even the announcer thinks steve needs to be pulled! Why is it our coach is the only one who can't figure this out?! Cincy is 2nd to last agains the run and we throw 26 passes and 18 runs? Is he mental?!

Ooops, 72 penalties!

I said it then too.
