Watching it right now, and looking forward to seeing how our first offensive drive finishes...so far, so good, but don't wanna speak too soon...

Yup, spoke too soon, drive stalled.

But good first three plays. Two decent intermediate gains, and got into Cincy territory.

Personally, I think that delay of game penalty on Kelly Gregg for kicking the ball was b.s., but oh well. It wasn't malicious, it wasn't like he was doing it like someone would spike a ball, but whatever.

this is the first game in a long while that I've been genuinely nervous when our 'D' has been on the field.

The positives from the defense so far is that the front four has been getting a good enough rush that Palmer has been hesitant to attack the corners and go deep as often as I thought he would right off the gate.

Man, Corey Ivy got hurt making that tackle to save the fumble return...

I hope he's alright...he already had to come back from so much last year, and he's played as hard as he can all year in place of Samari Rolle (and now Chris McAlister)...

Well, you can't say Billick didn't take any shots down the field...not gonna complain about not getting it on that 4th-and-8 pass, it was all on Demetrius Williams to make the catch, and he almost had it in the endzone.

THAT WAS OFFICALLY THE DUMBEST THING I HAVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. IN FIELD GOAL RANGE AND YOU NEED 8 YRDS AGAINST A TEAM WE CAN NEVER BEAT AND YOU DON'T KICK THE FG.... TV GOING OFF I AM NOT GOING TO WATCH POOR COACHING TODAY.. I AM ALREADY THROWING STUFF AROUND THE HOUSE IN ANGER. WOW HOW STUPID.

In a salary era you can only have so much depth--what they were like down to 3 string and practice squad DB's . 3 rookies on the O-Line--it is what it is.

Yeah I guess we can use that as an excuse.

Parity in the NFL.

Things happen.

Injuries. Age. Inexperience of young players. Improvements made by other teams. Circumstances. Etc.

All NFL teams deal with it, even teams like the Colts and Patriots. The only difference between those two teams and the rest of the NFL is that they have certain players that help maintain consistency, and their front offices and coaches think ahead and plan to the future.
