Week 3. Ravens visit Gillette Stadium to face the patriots. All week 3 talk here. How do you think this game pans out? We need to pressure Tom Brady like the Jets did, and force him to make early hasty throws. I think our offense can move the ball on there Defense. Thoughts?

Even though I'm a bit bitter myself on it, I'm not concerned too much. With the Pats it was nothing personal. They were playing to win a game. Will it be sweet for the Ravens to win come week 4? Yes. But I'm more concerned about winning divisional matchups, even though this is a conference game.

You gotta love the passion of Ravens fans. Only 2 hours after going 3-0 for only the 2nd time in franchise history, we are already thinking about what we have to do next week.

3 down and 1 to go. One week at a time.

i think brady is gonna air it out and unlike the SD game with their monster receivers, we will stop their receivers and get a couple of picks.

I'm a little confused b/c I didn't see the original post. What I will say though, is that I was a Ravens fan long before I joined these forums.

This is a game that the Ravens have to be careful with. The Pats offense still lools to be struggling, but we all know the capability of that offense.

I think we have to continue being stellar vs the run and force Brady into 3rd and longs. We have to focus on getting pressure up the middle and force Brady to move.

The Ravens matchup well with the Pats offense imo, because that Pats offense rely more on speed and the Ravens D has plenty speed.

I feel as though their defense isn't as good as in years past. They did a pretty good job against the Falcons, but I don't think they will be able to hang with our Oline.

The Ravens will have much more of a ball control, clock management type approach to this game.

If we can get up early in that game and hold them down, the Ravens will come out on top. Look for the Ravens defense to make a statement in this game.
Joe Flacco gets the better of Tom Brady in this one and the Legend of Flacco continue to grow nationally.

if the Pats-Falcons game was a close one I wouldn't worry, but the Pats had an upperhand clearly by beating them 26-10. I'm not sure, but I'm kind of worried. We're playing in Patriots home too right?

This will be a big test for us, anyone thinks otherwise they're a fool.

That said, we're going to establish next decade's dynasty a little early, fella's; the REAL fun starts next Sunday.

I can see the game vs. New England going down a lot like our game vs. the Chargers: Lots of points put up by both teams, and a nail-biter down to the end. I think our offense is good enough to score points on them but I think our secondary will struggle. I think the run game will decide the winner, and I can't see the Ravns losing in that category. We'll shut down the run and put the game on Brady's shoulders and I don't think he's at a point where he can do enough by himself to win against us. Conversely, I think our run game will succeed in wearing down the clock and keeping our defense fresh, as well as open up lanes for a few passes down field. I see this as a winnable game, though not gonna lie I think the Ravens could beat anybody who lines up against them right now. This team is good.
My prediction: 32-27Ravens over Patriots.

I can't wait to play the New England Patriots next week. This win will definitely quiet the doubters. A lot of people are still talking trash because they don't believe we can beat the tough teams. Our win against the Chargers and being number one in our division isn't enough. Everyone is waiting us to beat a powerhouse. I am so tired of hearing "haters" say we aren't playing anyone it isnt funny BUT when we win against the Patriots and the Steelers it's going to feel so good as a fan. I believe in our team and that's why I am so confident. Two of the coolest Qb's in the Nfl are playing my vote between Joe Cool and Tom Brady.......

I wish we didn't have to play the easy teams in Baltimore and the tough squads on the road. . .
[/quote]

Yea it drives me crazy as well. Browns and KC at home. But NE and SD on the road? It's a tough pill to swallow.

But lets look at the bright side. At least we get to play the Colts at home. We are going to have make M&T louder than ever before.

How is it that I started this forum but it shows up like somebody else did?

I think I screwed up the merging of the two threads. You didn't "start" this one, it's just that your topic was very similar to one that was already established. I merged them and something went awry! It'll be fixed momentarily.
