Is It Safe To Say That The Browns Game Went Perfectly?

21 posts in this topic

In a word: yes.

The only thing that would've made it more perfect would've been a shutout. That, or hitting 500 yards of offense again. But came close enough on both counts.

After seeing Flacco today, and now watching Ben on TV. Flacco > Ben

As much as I hate the Steelers, I think Flacco looks a lot like Ben... We saw the beginnings of it against the Chiefs when he dodged a few pass rushers. The key to Flacco being better than Ben in the long run is in him continuing to develop the 4th quarter comeback/2 minute drill ability that Ben is undeniable great at.

Flacco = Ben - motorcycle accident.

They have very similar styles and playmaking abilities but Ben's battle-worn and I don't think he'll be considered an elite quarterback for much longer. Flacco on the other hand, has immense potantial for an amazing career. Usually it takes a guy a few years to get acclimated to the QB position but Flacco got this good in like a year. It's incredible to think what his numbers will look like when he's done kicking butt all over the place. So glad he's on our team.

No this game wasn't prefect. We weren't as great in the redzone today. We had a rare turnover in the redzone. We also missed a few sacks and turnovers on defense.

However if all our games could turn out like this I would be happy.

Yes it was. We played them well. I know Mangini is frustrated but our division isn't easy either. They should concentrate on next week which is another divisional matchup against a tough opponent.

was the number of penalties and number of yards?

If it was any thing other than 1-1 then no, it was not a perfect game.

I have never seen any team have a perfect game. there is always things you can work on. but Webb really impressed me with pinning the ball down on the 1 yd line AGAIN. back to back weeks! with Burgess being traded I thought we would see paul kruger but no such luck.

I agree, NO game will be perfect! But you can always improve.
