Merged: Madden 10 Ravens Ratings Comments

Why are the ravens so underated in madden its ridiculous, matt ryan and kevin kolb go +2 and joe flacco stays the same. kelly gregg was a 90 before he got injured and he lost 7 rating, but brady loss nothing. Its really sad

This is true hence me being able to beat so many people, i just feel the ravens are so underated in madden its sad.

So I was playing my friend tonight in this game online. I noticed that the Ravens overall rating had went from an 84 to an 83.

Why did the overall drop? I think the ratings should have raised instead of dropped with the way they've been playing lately.

It seems like the Ravens really get no respect by anyone and it's kind of disappointing.

Either way, like I've said time-and-again, any Madden player worth their salt can play with any team, so the team ratings really shouldn't matter.

Team ratings outside of Franchise Mode are calculated by real-life stats (note: stats, not necessarily performance) while team ratings inside Franchise Mode are calculated by the average overall ratings of the team at each position. At least that would explain how the Ravens are rated higher in Franchise Mode than in a regular Exhibition Mode or Online game.

Do you always play with the Ravens on-line Franny?

Me:
Steelers 90%
Giants 10%
Misc. 10%

Although, I haven't played on-line in well over a year.

Maybe 80-90% of the time. I almost feel an obligation to represent.

But when I play someone offline, I usually pick other teams but stick with the Ravens' playbooks since I have an enormous comfort level and over a dozen money plays I go to in desperation. Good enough for a two-minute drill or a game-winning drive.

I hear ya. I used the Giants against guy's who'd use the Patriots. [img]http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif[/img] A little "mental warfare." Plus the Giants have a great D, o-line, running game and at least "had" a good passing game.

I think I may have used San Diego a time or two.

I hated playing the Vick led Falcons or the Eagles w/ McNabb.
I don't think I ever lost vs. the Colts or Cowboys.

I got owned once by a guy using Moss though.

Hey, have (or anyone here) ever played a guy named "TaylorGuitars?" He would have used the Cowboys.

According to my last online game, the Ravens overall rating must be 100 because I won 42 to 0 and thats not like me hahha. Had 4 picks too, but haven't looked at the ratings lately.

Yeah, I don't ever play as any other team. I don't recall the last time I have played with another team on Madden other than the Ravens, to be honest.

I don't usually like to play online but I knew the guy I was playing, so it was cool. We were both the Ravens, so it got kind of confusing at times as we both had the black uni's.

I like playing with the Ravens most of the time unless I'm invited to a game and they oother player already has them. In that case I go with the Bears, Eagles, or Giants. The titans are alos a very good team to playe with!

Joe Flacco has better stats this season than Matt Ryan but Matt Ryan is after getting a few ratings boosts and Joe hasnt. Plus the Steelers are ranked too high compared us
