Seems Ed sat out for Practice. Neck is acting up. I think that collision with Landry and the heat really aggravated the injury. I still think hes plays tomorrow. If its too bad, I don't think letting him sit and Relax will hurt us.

By the way, I hope his rather weird Pattern does not keep up

If anything it would be a good time to rotate Reed and Zbikowski. Put Reed in 3rd downs and Red Zones and allow Zbikowski to continue gaining experience.

And I sure hope that it won't be a 1 for this year. LOL

The Browns have the 32nd ranked offense in the league. Letting Reed sit out a good portion of the game shouldn't be a problem. Good idea to give Zibby some playing time.

fact of the matter is, every one knows Reed is a ball hawk so they are going to throw AWAY fom him, thus making an intercept a little bit more difficult.

I am not concerned about the numbers...

I noticed that pattern in 2008. As for the game, hopefully Reed will able to sit the entire second half after the team has put the Browns away early.

From what I've heard, this injury won't get better with time. He's always going to be more susceptible to re-injury from the wrong type of hits. But the thing is, you could die even without the injury if you hit or get hit wrong. I think the main thing you see if Ed's hesitance to tackle unless he's running along side the guy. He won't hit them if they are running at him. He can still pick off passes, and because running on the team is SO hard to do... and because the first two weeks teams have had some success through the air, I'm sure the interceptions will come sooner or later for Reed. But I do think that this is his last year, no matter what happens. It's clear to me that he's very frustrated that he can't tackle the way he used to due to nothing more than his injury. Let's hope this is the first year he finally breaks double digits in interceptions! Always got love for #20!

I reckon he finishes the season with 5 interceptions, he's too good not to with our offense going so well. Teams will be forced into throwing to keep up! :P

remember out of his 9 last year most of them came at the end of the season with a few 2 int games maybe he's just getting a Reed on the tendencies of our coverage to see where he needs to go.

okay did a lil research because i know some people are wondering where ed reed is this year he led the league last year with 9 int.'s and here is the breakdown

week 1 vs. bengals 0
week 2 bye week <_<
week 3 vs. browns 1 (td)
week 4 @ steelers 0
week 5 vs. titans 0
week 6 @ colts 0
week 7 @ dolphins 0
week 8 vs. raiders 0
week 9 @ browns 0
week 10 @ texans 0
week 11 @ giants 0
week 12 vs. eagles 2 (td)
week 13 @ bengals 0
week 14 vs redskins 2
week 15 vs steelers 0
week 16 @ cowboys 2
week 17 vs jaguars 2
sooooo as you can see reed got his first pick last year at home against the browns lol then got 8 in last 6 games so Reed is there but he kicked it in late if he mirrors last year he'll get 2 picks vs the steelers and lions then 2 more at the sleelers and raiders.

What make Ed Reed so unique is his ability to threaten a team with his ability. He doesn't have to make big stops all the time. He can just stop you by reading the opponent's plays and picking them apart (literally). That's playing like a Raven. :D

The next time he gets an intercept he should pull a Yamon Figurs and morph into the fetal position, don't risk your shoulder let our offense move the ball.
