Pittsburg/philly Loyalty Ruins Northernyork County Ravens Fans Game This Week

ok what about this makes no sense, the coverage on cbs 21 on comcast aka channel 10 will be philly vs kc instead of the local baltimore vs browns making it a BLACK OUT GAME for no reason this does violate NFL broadcast rules since its an NFC Team on CBS not Fox the home team must be afc and in the viewing area for this to happen can some one explain to me how this happened?????

How are they breaking the rules? I thought local television covered local games over the nationally televised ones and I would think anywhere in Pennsylvania would be covering either the Steelers or the Eagles. I don't know what the rule is, so I don't know if they are breaking it, but what they are doing seems logical - if frustrating for fans that don't like in the area of the teams they follow.

Yea the game is only being shown in the primary market. Which is baltimore and northeast Maryland. Half of Maryland doesn't even get the game! The secondary Market which is some of PA, the rest of MD and Northern Virgina are out of the picture.

This is becuase the Redskins play at 1 pm as well. Whenever both teams play at 1, the Ravens are only on in their primary market.

This is what they mean when they say the Ravens have the smallest media market. But what we lack in media, we make up for in fan base.

I caved in this year and bought the Sunday Ticket. I was sick and tired of not being able to get the game IN MARYLAND! But I wont' have to worry about it anyways. I'm at this game!

The eagles would normally be on fox, except they are playing the chiefs. I will be at Damon's in york and will certainly buy you a beer or 2 if you can get there! I live in York and usually miss 2 games a year due to the scheduling.

hanover comcast is different. they get wjz for cbs not cbs21

Well, looks like I'm screwed again!! I'm getting the friggin' Steelers - Lions game. Makes sense, the 3rd place Steelers against the worst team in the NFL instead of two 3-1 teams playing for first place in the division.

Don't feel bad, I get Steelers-Lions and Browns-Bills. So now I have to play a game I like to call "Dodge The Score" until midnight when the game is uploaded to NFL Rewind. Seems like everytime I play this game, I get one idiot friend who texts me telling me something like "Your team is winning".

No usually we're in the STEELERS zone..although yeah as far as Fox goes the Eagles usually take precedence.....

I'd move to the Baltimore area in a heartbeat if I only had a job...and a place to live...
