i still cant understand how they are asking for 60 dollars for a verison of the game that should have been released for download or atleast they could have sold it for 30. i think microsoft was just being greedy and because it they lost me as a customer on this one.

I never really understood all the hype over Halo to begin with. I mean, I can see how it was revolutionary for its time on the original Xbox, but Halo 3 was so underwhelming to me on the 360 after having played Gears of War and other quality shooters. I just didn't get it.

Because of the XBOX fanboys....

MY friend was going on about this game before it came out,and I told him that it was going to be the exact same thing as the other Halo's,but he still got it...

I agree with theFranchise, the original Halo was good for its time but the last 3 halo games (not including halo wars) haven't really been all that, one of the most over-hyped series i think.

Gah Gears of War was siiiiiiiiick, i love the coop multiplayer shooters. I was playing COD5 the other day and thinking to myself man I cant wait for when they make a realistic (as in shooter set in this century or near future, something without laser guns not a fan of that stuff) shooter thats completely interactive. Like you can go into any building, your squad is interactive in what your doing, you can issue commands. Anyone ever play the Brothers in Arms series? If they made the newest one a coop campaign, and made enemies smarter that game would have been the real deal. Using an engine like that for future shooters would be tight.

the 1st halo was a classic game in its own right. the 2nd halo wasnt that impressive as far as the campiagn went but the online changed the online fps era into what it is now. halo 3 i think was the worst addition and with odst all your getting is a add on that shouldnt cost more than 30 dollars. the problem is that they are trying to improve the graphics instead of the game play that made it a success. i feel like bungie sold out but only time will tell.

I think it already did.. and I agree with your assessment halo 1 was by far best gameplay... but then again it was revolutionary... almost nothing they could have done would have touched it... a shooter I think that was actually more fun then any of the Halo games.. was Crysis... def look into Crysis 2 when it comes out for systems.. unless you have an ungodlike computer

I knew it was going to be a "bust". I just borrowed it from a friend and like many people, wasnt impressed. I doubt I will even buy Halo Reach, dont think you get to play as MC in that either.

idk if you've tried it yet or not, but give bioshock a chance, FPS with some "survival horror" mixed in
