Taking Avatar & Signature Requests

[size="4"][b]UPDATE (10/20/09): Due to my busy schedule and heavy workload, I'm no longer taking requests. However, I'll finish the projects I have in queue. I'll leave this thread closed temporarily until I'm ready to take requests again.[/b][/size]

Since I've just recently taught myself how to use Photoshop, I've been experimenting with things here and there and have already made a couple of sigs and avatars. Nothing too fancy, but I need more practice and need to get more comfortable with the software.

So with that said, I'll currently be taking signature and avatar requests.

My only guidelines to requests:[list][*]No animated sigs/avatars; we discourage them, anyway.[*]Nothing too fancy; I like to keep things simple rather than cluttered with too many filters or fancy designs.[*]Don't get mad if I don't make things exactly as you like; remember, this is practice for me.[*]Specify if you'd like your name stylized and included in the sig/avatar.[*]Don't expect things to get done ASAP; I'm a busy man, so you'll get your sig when it's done.[/list]It would be extremely helpful if you PM me the pictures you'd like to use or provide a link to the image itself. Otherwise, simply requesting a player gives me creative license to do whatever I'd like.

As for avatars, I can do something even as simple as cropping a picture properly to fit the maximum dimensions allowed, and can add whatever you'd like (or nothing at all) to it.

Note that all sigs (unless specified otherwise) will be done at the maximum 550x200 dimensions as allowed in the Code of Conduct, while avatars will be 100x100.

Depends. If you give me some specific Steelers pictures you'd want me to work with (preferably medium-to-large sized), I can come up with something.

No Hines Ward, though. That's my only rule.

I could, in theory, make something similar to it, but merely altering it would turn out poorly. So yes, I'd start from scratch. Do you want the Six-burgh theme (six Lombardis, six Super Bowl MVPs) or the six trophies and something else entirely alongside them?

I'd like what I have now with Santonio Holmes on a trophy. Plus some dates are wrong and would need to be changed. I still know where to find the original player and lombardi pics if you think you want to give it a shot. I'd appreciate it dude. Let me know.

Good news Franny: You are off the hook. Ironically the guy who made this sig messaged me that he got his pc back in order and can finally upgrade it. So now you don't have to worry about being heckled about making a Steelers sig. Although, I think it's pretty cool that you considered it. Thanks Bro.

I added you to the running list I have in the first post. I've decided I'll have no more than five pending at a time, just so I don't start to feel the pressure to get things done. I tend to work on these projects simultaneously since I might not like a cut I make for a certain sig but I could always use it later, etc.

Do you want anything specific on yours? Any specific Ngata picture(s) you'd like included? Do you want your name stylized on there as well?

hey, I'll let your artistic talent flow. If you feel you need filler then yeah, pop the user name on there but if not leave it off. So Long as it's Number 92 looking like a bad @$$ I'm all for it.

Just as a status update, I'm doing the three that I have in queue in order, and those are the only three I'm promising right now. I'll continue to take requests, but they won't be promised until after these three get done.

FerrariFan87's sig request, I'm getting a bit ambitious with, but if it comes out how I visualize, hopefully it'll turn out really well. And if not, at least I'll have a bunch of cuts to work with later. Meanwhile, I'll be upping the ante on CorvusCorax's concept and that'll be the first full avy/sig combo project I do. Finally, dethdude420's sig should be easy (fingers crossed) since it's just ONE player.

Hoping to have those three finished by week's end, no later than end of next week if things don't get too hectic on my end. Again, keep the requests coming, but nothing will be guaranteed until these three are finished first.
