he adds veteran leadership to that o-line in san fran.. i wouldnt be surprised to see him start in a few weeks from now.. i guess they weren't content with the run blocking last week when gore had over 200 yards on 16 carries..

I actually saw him on the field this past week. My buddy has the Sunday ticket, and we watch the red zone a lot. Not sure if he started or not, but he was definitely in the game.

Luckily they have the Panthers 1st round pick to use on a franchise right tackle. They got a good enough QB in Shaun Hill to where they he can take the snaps under center and be a game manager. If they can build a solid young offensive line and put together a great defensive line which they could use with their pick the 49ers could be a team who could challenge 2 or 3 years down the line. Now only if they could get this Crabtree situation handled and give Hill another reciever they could be dangerous.
