Calling Out Nova (Ravens/browns Game!)

3 posts in this topic

Ok, so CBS has me LIVID! They will be airing the Eagles game rather than the Ravens/Browns match up on Sunday. I'm going to go to the Glory Days Grill in Sterling & thought I'd pop it up here in hopes of calling out some of the local fans! Lets show the Deadskins fans they aren't the ONLY ones in Northern Virginia!

If you'd like to meet up with me, please RSVP via email to varavensgirl@comcast.net so that I can get a headcount to make a table reservation. I'll do my best to have us closest to the TV that airs our game. If I get a decent headcount, I'm sure they'll help us out!

Gametime: 1:00 (I'll be there at Noon) Look for the girl in the #5!!! B)

Where:
Glory Days Grill, Sterling
21800 Towncenter Plaza
Sterling, VA 20164

Heya Girl!

To make matters worse, I just discovered that CBS in Baltimore switched there HD frequency over the summer and the new channel is SO low power that I can't pick it up at my house in Sterling any more!!! I HATE being at channel 9's mercy. They will show Redskins conference games at every chance they get.

I was thinking about driving up to my dad's in Westminster to watch, but the idea of starting something locally has me intrigued.

Will Glory Days be showing the game on a decent sized TV? I think I've only been there once, so I'm not too familiar with the layout.

Most that replied were on “ravensinsider.com” and are ticket holders so are ‘going to the game”. However, I’ll be at Glory Days with a couple Redskins friends of mine. LOL The owners assured me of the following: “it should be on at least 5 of our 43 tv’s. If you can get here between 12 and 12:30 you should be ok”.

It won’t likely be on the big screen because it’s on at the same time as the Skins; however, at least it’s on, and you can hear it because speakers are on the tables. So, I’ll be over there at 12. Lol

Many on RI expressed interest for future away games. For me to form an official "roost" however, we need a guaranteed 25, then I'd need to find a bar willing to sponsor, which I have not done yet. I know of a good Bills bar.. Loll I wonder if an AFC team would share.. he he.. I kinda doubt it.
