I once took a wizz next to Michael McCrary at the ESPN zone a few years back.

It was after a big win and we were both standing there reading the newspaper that they pin to the wall. And without looking over, i just said... Nice game today. He said thanks, and that was about it.

Nice play not looking over. One place where conversation with strangers should never take place is at the urinals of a mens room. A'nice game' to McCrary is acceptable, though.

we went to a Raven Practice/Dinner in '03......the whole team was there, we Met (got pictures taken with)

B.J. Sams, Kyle Boller, Todd Heap (touched my brothers head and said 'sup dude') we met Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, J.O, Terrell Suggs...the Whole deal it was pretty cool, we werent allowed to get near Ray though, he was sitting at his own tabel with All his Agents and everything, they would only allow us to take a picture (of just him), Jamal was sitting at a Table in the back, talking and joking/laughing alot at jokes players were telling him

it was a good experience, we asked Boller if we could get a picture and he was like "SURE!" and was waving us over lol it was a fun time

I haven't persoanlly met a Ravens player but I did come within a few feet of Edwin Mulitalo. I was in a hotel downtown to attend a conference my mom's company was holding. As I got out of the elavator, my eye caught this huge guy standing next to a pillar. I saw him and as I got closer I realized it was Edwin. I think the only reason he didn't notice me staring at him as I walked by was because of how tall he is.

I must have been raised differently I guess....I always talk to guys when I'm at the urinal. As long as you stare at the wall as you talk it's ok in my book.

Just met Orlando "Zeus" Brown less than 12 hours ago, he seems very gung-ho about the Ravens still, like he's ready to jump back on the field... I was coming out of Books-A-Million in Arundel Mills Mall and I was wearing my Ravens hat, and as usual I was wearing a kilt. The Kilt I was wearing however is purple and black with a smidgen of white in it. I bought this kilt even though it is not an "Official" tartan recognized by the "Scottish Tartan Society" Simply because it matched my Ravens Shirt, and now my hat. Nether my hat nor my kilt is official "Ravens" Gear, However, the hat being purple and black with a big 52 on the front and raised letters saying Baltimore there is no mistaken representation.

Anyway, Around 8:30pm I was talking to "Carrie" (a long time friend) about where we were going next and when we might get a bite to eat, when this HUGE SIX FOOT PLUS individual wearing heavy winter garb and black iPod style earphone tries to get my attention. Me being rapped up in thought did not realize at first the person was speaking to me. When I realized he was speaking to me, I heard him saying he was Orlando Brown and something about being Zeus... Well not being fully blindsided and still thinking about food, and where we would shop next things just weren't tracking. The second time he got my attention he was applauding my wearing a purple kilt and Raven's hat saying I must be a real fan. At this point he had my attention but I didn't know how to react... Seeing someone in uniform with a helmet is not the same as seeing them in person. I must say now that when I saw him in person He was one BIG mother fletcher! I would not want this dude mad at me.

To Orlando I say this; "Orlando, I always wear kilts. I am a Ravens fan, sorry I did not recognize you at first, I never get to see TV broadcasts as I drive a cab 12-16 hours a day and often don't get to see TV for a few days and then maybe only half an hour or hour. I would not recognize any of the Ravens on sight. I also don't get excited about celebrity that does not impress me. What does impress me is when someone like yourself does what you did. You put yourself forward to greet a fan and to show your appreciation of your fans. This action DOES impress me. I have met and still meet movies stars, TV stars, sports 'heroes', I have even met "President Jimmy Carter", so when someone takes time to say thank you it means a lot, I just don't however get excited easy, and wasn't trying to be rude."

If all of the Raven's act this way with fans then I think I have good reason to support them, if they don't all act this was, then shame on the ones that don't. Even if Orlando never is able to retake the field again I hope the Ravens respect the man and hire him in some other capacity.

Orlando GOOD LUCK, and thank you.....

I saw Shannon Sharpe at the movie theatre in Owings Mills a few years ago. We went to see the movie "How High" when it first came out and he was walking out in front of us. He was walking really fast, so we couldnt stop to talk to him. Probably because he had a playoff game the next day.
