Question, why trade for Vincent Jackson when Jackson becomes a Free Agent after this season and we can sign him to a 5 or 6 year deal worth 40 Million without giving up draft picks. At this point we need all of the draft picks to trade up to get Taylor Mays or Eric Berry.

Both those kids are supreme talents but what the hell are you gonna do with them. Landry figured it out in the 4th, had a pick and Ed Reed is well Ed Reed. We have more pressing needs than Safety right now.

Kill two birds with one stone. Sign Vincent Jackson as a FA, move up in the draft from 32 and take Berry or Taylor to fix the secondary and give our secondary a very scary look. Like I said kill two birds with one stone, we get our # 1 reciever in Jackson and we get a huge upgrade at saftey. That's what we do with them.

Personal opinion but if I was going to upgrade the secondary Id take a corner, not a safety. Im all for signing Jackson tho thats not an issue here.

Taylor Mays is basically Dawan Landry, only bigger, a harder hitter and more athletic. He can't cover. I don't see the Ravens getting Eric Berry but if they somehow did, it would be great. He's a safety but he can play corner.
