I wish I can see the game, why are the defense allowing so many yards?

Foxworth and Washington both played in the AFC West against Philip Rivers before, so they have plenty of game footage on those two and their tendencies. There's been miscommunication by Dawan Landry, and also some of the linebackers (specifically Gooden) are looking a little lost on some plays. The defensive line is doing its job, but Rivers just keeps getting the ball off so quickly.

For those wondering (or who can't be bothered to visit the BR.com Gameday page), today's inactives for Baltimore:

QB John Beck (3rd QB)
S Tom Zibikowski
LB Danelle Ellerbe
T Oniel Cousins
G/T Tony Moll
TE L.J. Smith
NT Brandon McKinney
LB/DE Paul Kruger

Justin Harper was not activated from the practice squad, I don't believe, so he's not playing, even though it's been rumored that he traveled with the team.

THANKS!!!! That's what I thought. However, I didn't think that practice squad players could travel

There's occasional exemptions for players traveling with the team; for instance, injured players generally don't travel with the team, yet Kyle Boller went to a couple of away games with the team a couple years ago.

I dont want to be critical but the 09 draft is shaping up to be straight garbage, i mean Oher is a beautiful pick but when your 2nd rounder is a healthy scratch, and ur 3rd rounder is strictly ST'er and everyone else from the draft didnt even make the roster you have to start wondering.

Dante Hall was a great example of a guy who was a product of the special teams; after Frank Gansz left as ST coordinator, Hall was never the same in KC.

To be honest, there wasn't really much the Ravens could do to upgrade; the foundation was already in place, and there was only so much talent that could've been added or retained. One wasted draft doesn't really kill you when you have so much YOUNG talent already on the team.

we shouldn't try to force a bomb. i see that way too much with us
I think the bomb was what I alluded to before, about Cam Cameron testing out what he could get from the Chargers defense first before opening the playbook up. I think it was a legit call just then, Clayton was just covered extremely well. He had the one-on-one matchup on that throw, but better that Flacco overthrew than risk a pick.

Keep in mind that it's only week 2 and you should check your facts before you say, "everyone else from the draft didnt even make the roster", most of them did..
