And that's why we try not to do it around here.

But yes, I'm a firm believer of karma. So, as a fan, even though we have no direct effect on the outcome, I feel as if there's nothing to be gained from underestimating an opposing team or talking down on them. Sure, it's fun, but then you feel like crap if you're wrong and then, if you take things too far, you never live it down.

I can understand that, but at the same time, it's not as if Rex's exotic schemes always worked against GOOD teams. So it's hard to say whether Rex would've done better in that situation. More pressure, sure, but miscommunication is something that runs rampant in lots of NFL secondaries. That's what makes the good QBs great, when they recognize those things.

I think Cam Cameron is testing how much he can get out of this Chargers defense. I see the playbook being opened up more as the game wears on.

Meanwhile, those were three or four great gains in a row. I like what I'm seeing thus far.
