Here's why the Ravens are sneaky good: They spent so many years doing the all-defense/boring-offense routine that nobody can imagine them having playmakers. Well, they have two: Joe Flacco and Ray Rice. You might not want to believe it, but it's true.

We see a similar phenomenon with TV shows. When "Mad Men" launched on AMC and got rave reviews, I was one of the millions who decided, "That show can't be good, it's on AMC." I was judging it based on my previous experiences with the channel, which basically involved "Goodfellas" reruns and that's it. Well, "Mad Men" was good. So are Flacco and Rice. This will be the weekend when you start taking them seriously.

Suggs had eight sacks and two interceptions in 2008, returning both picks for touchdowns. Suggs can give you fits going forward to rush or dropping into space. He has a great first step rushing and is athletic enough to drop into space and cover backs and tight ends with ease.

Glad to see someone in the media knows what we know, Suggs is one of the best all around players in the league.

I specifically heard Golic say on the Mike and Mike show that he was taking the Ravens this weekend lol. Then on Espn he goes with the Chargers...way to sit on the fence Golic.

All of the NFL playbook analysts; Brian Baldinger, Sterling Sharpe, and Joe Theismann, chose the Ravens to win in today's game. It doesn't really matter much, those guys are routinely incorrect, but it's nice to receive the praise.
