M&t Gets 4 Wows From Espn

68 posts in this topic

The Ravens are 48-16 at home since 2000. (Regular Season Games) Best home record in the NFL since. Yes, I know the Steelers have been around a lot longer and I'm sure their overall home record is insane. But we are talking about Heinz vs M&T/Ravens Stadium/PSI Net.

Enough said.

They deliver drinks to your seat? That's pretty cool. I've never been to a football game where they did that. They do it at Yankee stadium (and probably every baseball stadium) though.

Like the Beer man--he was the second most popular vendor in my section last week:P I don't generally buy anything but a diet soda at a game, but when the frozen drink guy comes by i can not resist. He has strawberry daiquiri's and in the winter hot coco with Baileys's--last year my cousin chased the guy through the concourse at the Eagles game:lol:

I have never been to an NFL game in my life so you guys will know far more than me, but from what I've seen on TV, here's several places that have impressed me.

Seattle: Qwest Field looks beautiful, the way they have built those arching roofs and that unusual shaped stand at one looks fantastic. Whatsmore, the noise generated is amazing... and the fans turn out in full force every week even in regularly shocking weather.

Kansas City: You can't ignore the crowd there, their bright red attire and FIRST DOWN! calls must rock any visiting team - regardless of how well or averagely the team is doing.

Dallas: I'm pretty anti-Cowboys, but you gotta hand it to them, their stadium is a modern marvel... especially that big screen

Call me biased, but the aesthetics of our stadium are far nicer than Pittsburgh. They have loud fans yes, but ours are no quieter! M&T Bank is definitely up there.

I'm sorry but the new Dallas stadium is totally ruined by that large video display that hangs in the middle of the stadium. If I had tickets in the upper deck I would probably sell them. That video screen would make it almost impossible to watch the game from up high. It's just too much.

Arrowhead has always been historically known for it's crowd noise. Qwest is supposedly a very loud place to play but the Seahawks home record is not up to par with the Ravens and their tailgating arrangements are nowhere comparable to M&T.

Thats funny.

A couple years ago at the Steelers/Ravens game at Heinz it was FREEZING out. Now, I don't normally drink Heinekin but when the vendor walked up and exclaimed "Beat the heat! Ice cold beer!" I just had to give him my business.

Whateva False Prophet! I call it how i see it. If yall dont sound loud on surround sound, What else am i supposed to think? im sure CBS has high tech audio equipment. My point was- when the announcers stop talkin on crucial plays, and yall are on Defense, it doesnt sound like noise to me! But hey, you have every right to defend ya (bee hive) of a stadium. lol

I have no beef with that. However, I noticed that your stadium sounds like a golf course when yall are losing. Specificly the previous Titans game and the first game against us at Heinz field last year. Even when we're losing, that stadium is never quiet. You need ear plugs when the D is on the field. I may be just a hater. If so, im cool with that!!!! im supposed to be
