The Bank should get more respect than 4 wows. It's always jammed pack. And it's louder than any stadium in the league. It's nestled next to Camden Yards and the inner harbor. And the Defense chant takes on a whole different meaning.

5 out of 5 Wows.
I've notice even though the ketchup kingdom is packed, their fans do a horrible job with keepin it noisy in there during the games. I dont know how it is live, but on TV, they're too relaxed. Maybe its becuz they Know they're gonna win or steal the game or sumthin. When i watch our home games, that stadium is crazy when the D is on the field.

I think the all come and know they will get dominated for three quarters, and they wait for Big Ben to pull together another winning drive. Its like trying to kill a tick, no matter what you do to the damned things they always keep living...... until your burn them ..hmmm

Obviously, M & T Bank Stadium is my favorite one of all. I love the crowd, the atmosphere, and the way we normally play at home. I have been to 3 away stadiums. My favorite of them was Raymond James in Tampa. I thought the open ends were cool, the weather was great and the fans were mostly cordial. This was in 2006, so when we continued to shut them out at halftime, almost 1/3 of the fans left. Next on the list was LP Field, where the Titans play. I went there for the playoff game. The stadium was pretty nice, not as nice as Raymond James i.m.o., but the fans were amped up and they were very loud. The third place I have been is Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. This stadium was pretty terrible. It was ugly, the weather stunk, and the fans were very pessimistic (this was last year ;) ). The sound system and video boards were bad as well.
That's awesome, I was at that game at Raymond James in 2006 too. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Ravens were represented down there. Raymond James will always have a special place in my heart cause that was the site of the Ravens only NFL championship (so far!).

I'll throw this in there just for laughs, but in the rating for Raymond James stadium that also got 4 wows, they mention the Pirate Ship and how they shoot off cannons when they score. I was there for opening day 2006, when we went in there and beat them 27-0. The Pirate Ship was silent that day!
That is not true, they did shoot the cannons one time during that game after making it into the redzone. Me and 3 of my friend sat in the endzone in row 9. We heard the cannon go off and we were like WTH are yall shooting that cannon for, we were told they do it for redzone and TD's. They ended up not scoring any way.

The only thing we need at M&T is to upgrade HD video replay.

Good call, I was more trying to make the point about the shutout. They also shot the cannons during pregame introductions if I remember correctly. So, while the cannons were not technically silent, the shutout was awesome.

Steeler fans have to admit, Heinz Field is probably one of the worst in the league.
if your talking the actual field than maybe

but ive been to the eagles, ravens, redskins, giants,
Tampa bay,Oakland,Titans and the browns stadiums

and id say in terms of noise and intensity Heinz was the best, yours was up there but heinz field is crazy

in terms of seating its tied between heinz and your stadium because ive never had a bad seat in either place

you might be right that your stadium should have gotten that extra wow but ours deserved the 5 that it got IMO

I think they just made that up cause we were whipping them and they would not even shot us any T-shirt out of those cannons.

My only issue with Heinz Field, as others have pointed out, is the actual field itself. But other than that, I have to admit that the overall stadium is aesthetically pleasing -- even if the black & gold sickens me. :P

It's true...Goodell has a strange fascination with Pittsburgh.

As for me, I've been lucky to see 3 different Ravens away games. Got to see 2 matchups in San Diego over a 13 year span of living there, and got to see the final game at Cowboys stadium last year.

Now for my opinions of the stadiums themselves:

San Diego = You can put your money on the weather being great, but the glare from the sun can sometimes be a problem. There are not many activities surrounding the stadium, since it's off the beaten path north of the 8 Freeway. The fans seem to have a collective disdain for Baltimore fans, as I was heckled pretty much the whole game. I can see why Oakland games get feisty. San Diegans love to wear a false sense of superiority, shouting continuous hate over the city of Baltimore. Just use my common response and ask where their ring is in the 40+ years of their existence. That usually shuts them up.

Dallas = Their old stadium was like going to a war museum or something like that. Old and tarnished metal, with concrete that looked like it was poured in the late 1800's. I was suprised at the decorum that Dallas fans showed after we soundly handed them a butt-whooping for their last game. Most were saying "good game, Baltimore" to me and were actually respectful after the blowout.

I look forward to trying Cincinnati's stadium this year since I live back in Baltimore city now and can make the drive up there.

"The Ravens would also join the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants and Jets as teams boasting high definition video boards."

If the new HD video screens are anything like the ones in Miami, they will be awesome. You can see the ones in Miami clear from a few blocks away.

I'm no tourist!!! I was born in Baltimore. Moved to LA in the 80's. I was just out there in March.
Just sayin that they're on the maps.
B-More got an overhaul since you left in the 80's. I love it there myself.
I'm sure it was different from what you remembered.

We're loud enough. Besides, if the Lions had the loudest stadium in the league, would it matter?

Seattle is the loudest. Stadium was designed to be that way. Our open end probably has a lot to do with dampening the noise.

They deliver drinks to your seat? That's pretty cool. I've never been to a football game where they did that. They do it at Yankee stadium (and probably every baseball stadium) though.

I'm in Baltimore a few times a year. My whole family, except for me & my Mom, are all still there. I love it there, but man, I don't miss the snow & humidity.

Frozen purple drinks sound good!! all that other stuff I can get at the Q. Crabcakes would be a treat!! any hard crabs? My Dad said they were throwing around the "Baltimore Crabs" name when u first got the team. that would've been funny. Giant mallots everywhere.

I have a few relatives w/Ravens season tickets. I gotta get to a game.

Oh man, I don't think I'd be able to take them seriously if that was their name.

"The Lords" wouldn't have been too bad (ex. Lord Baltimore).
