Who Will Be The First To Lose To Detroit?

33 posts in this topic

Ok, so who will be the first team to lose to the Detroit Lions? I'm torn between two choices, the St.Louis Rams or our friends the Cincinatti Bungles. My heart wants it to be Cincinatti SOOOOOOOOO bad, but my head is telling me St.Louis. I'll go with the Rams

Could be the Ravens. Remnember what happened down in Miami 2 years ago?
Seriously? Compare the Ravens two years ago to the Ravens of last year (and so far this year). The teams do not compare. Your statement is ridiculous.

Yeah, we lost to the winless Miami with Kyle Boller as our quarterback, when our offense was still stagnant. We have a franchise quarterback with Flacco, and an offense looking to be explosive to match our D. You're going to throw the Ravens name out there? Shame on you.

I agree with the Rams. Poor, poor Rams :\

I say Rams only b/c they play them before the bungles...

Honestly, theres a good chance they could beat the Redskins.
...And if the Steelers lose to them I will never stop laughing.

I'm going for the upset and say the Bears. Yup, in Chicago.

upset? At this point, ANY team that gets beaten by the lions will be an upset.

I'm going with the Redskins. Last year they blew a win against the Rams. The same will happen with the Lions.

Do the Lions play the Broncos? If they do, my pick is the Broncos. I'm pretty sure they don't, so I'm going with the Bengals. They're all kinds of bad, and a division rival.

Then we all would be laughing at Danny Boy Snyder if the Lions do beat them.

The Ravens....jk. I'd say the Browns, Bengals, or Rams. You know, easy picks. But if I was to really go out on the limb I'd say the Bears or the Panthers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's possible. Just not likely.

If the Rams play them before the Bengals, then I'll take the Rams.

now who would get ripped on the most, Detroit if they go
0-16 AGAIN or the first team to lose to them? Well their last 2 games are against teams who will most likely have no reason to rest their starters for the playoffs (SF and Chi) I figured that MAYBE if they had a SB contender on the schedule week 16 or 17 that they could get a win against their 2nd string. That brings me to my next question:

Say your team has a 1st round by locked up and it's the last game of the season, you are playing a Detroit team that has lost 35 straight games do you A: Rest your starters and risk being labled as the team that lost to Detroit for the next decade or do you B: go for the record?

I'm gonna say week 3. Detroit pulls out the upset over Washington.
Good pick. Washington couldnt score a TD against the Rams, who has about the same defense as Detriot

This guy agrees with you:

The question is, how many people will pick Detroit in Demon's "You Pick 'Em" thread? :P

BTW... The guy in the link above picks the Ravens this week, 38-6. Probably pretty close. :D
