I'll agree that its too early for the rankings to mean much.

I'd say after week 6 is when the rankings start to mean something. Why? Because that's when the teams start to mean something. Winning teams make their presence known. Same goes for losing teams. Teams that are 4-2 to 2-4 can swing either way. And all the teams will face at least 2 tough opponents (going by last season).

It's awesome to see we are 2nd in total offense and 3rd in total defense (despite allowing 24 points we only allowed 188 total yards, plus we know the circumstances for some of those points), even if it is only after one week and against the rebuilding Chiefs. I get the impression that some of you think that because I'm a rival fan, you have some sort of "rank" on me or something. It's not the case. Just because the person I reply to wears purple does not give him more rights than I have. Don't think you're going to push me, and then point your finger when I push back. I show plenty of respect around here. But again, I'm not going to take anyone's crap. We ALL have our limits.

Sometimes that forum gets slow. Sometimes this one does. I visit both. I'm stuck in front of a PC for eight hours per day, I'm not taking any classes at the moment AND FB season just started.

TITANS were killing your Squeelers all game, you just got lucky at the end, because they missed the field goal. Titans were moving the ball with or without Polamalu, yes, he made some plays, but he also had many 15 yard penalties. It's his problem, that he can't tackle the guy without holding his facemask!!!
It's still early in the season, I agree on that, but I can already see BIG HOLES
in that STEEL SHOWER CURTAIN, and the HOLES ARE GETTING BIGGER.

The Ravens are a new dog and were just scratching the surface of what tricks we got up our sleave(2nd behind NO in total O with 500yds, a 300 yd passer and 100 yd rusher, 3 passing tds 2 rushing, 43 passing att, who woulda thought!). you dont know what were gonna do, hell, we dont know what cam cam is cookin in his lab. I think the unknown is way more frightening than the same ol' same ol', dont yens agree?

what i was saying Mr. Killer was that with or without troy they didnt score alot of points

not that troy being hurt was the reason for the yards they got....i never said that

the reason they got yards is because they are the titans and like it or not they are a pretty good team

There are a lot of "newer" posters to the boards (I myself am fairly new) who seem to think its standard to jump on the neck of any Steelers fan who posts on these boards. This isn't the case. I myself enjoy WARDEN's/PROPHET's and a few others presence on here. They are not here to troll/flame Ravens fans, but would rather converse intelligently about the 2 teams as they are, lets face it, the best rivalry game in sports today - I don't care what anyone says.
There are always going to be a few Ravens fans who no matter what do not like the fact that there are Steelers fans posting in what they perceive to be "our" house. I'm a lot bit more grown up than that and as I said, enjoy getting their perspective and ideas on the subject.

I will say though, often times Steelers fans on Ravens boards (not necessarily this one) sole purpose does seem to tear down what us Ravens fans say about a particular player or game and compare it to a Steelers player or game. It can get out of hand, just as this thread has.

But these guys are good fellas.
