Haha, I know. I'm not 100% certain either on that pick. Honestly, I think we can and will hold them in check. The only dangerous element for them against us is Sproles on the return. It could be a long day for us if our special teams slacks :\
The one thing I looked at was that we held them in check the first time and won. We whooped their butts in the playoffs. Considering how similar our teams are was a big consideration, but I just had to go with the Chargers based on the belief that their offense has a better chance to move the ball than your offense does (IN MY HUMBLE OPINION). I could be wrong.

It's a tough call. But I know I couldn't bring myself to pick against my own team either....that's too much to ask. It's like admitting you refuse to believe. Lions fans and Browns fans don't necessarily have that problem but some of us do.

New England Patriots at New York Jets: Jets

Indianapolis Colts at Miami Dolphins: Dolphins (my upset pick).
How are the JETS not your upset pick? The Colts have fallen off. It'd be not much of an upset to see the Dolphins beat them in Miami.

My picks:

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans: Titans
New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles: Saints
Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars: Cardinals
Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: Raiders
Cincinnati Bengals at Green Bay Packers: Packers
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions: Vikings
St. Louis Rams at Washington Redskins: Redskins
New England Patriots at New York Jets: Patriots
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons: Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills: Bills
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers: 49ers
Baltimore Ravens at San Diego Chargers: Ravens
Pittsburgh Steelers at Chicago Bears: Steelers (seppoku)
Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos: Broncos
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys: Cowboys
Indianapolis Colts at Miami Dolphins: Colts

Could be I guess. I just think more and more people will "expect" the Jets to win than the Dolphins. But I understand your point. I just refuse to hype up Tom Brady anymore.

I believe Dallas will have problems handling the Giants' front 7. It will be a tough game for the G-men in Dallas, but I think they'll come out with a W.

Proud to see people following the national consensus? Okay.

I really liked what I saw from the Cowboys in week 1 vs. what I saw from the Giants. The Cowboys' offense is doing just fine without T.O, while I don't see the Giants being as successful without Plaxico Plexico Texaco whatever his name is.

Proud that people are actually and finally picking them. The National Concensus is to pick the Cowboys. The Cowboy Defense did not scare me whereas the young Giant WR corps impressed.

Let me rephrase: "The National Concensus has always been to pick the Cowboys." Even though I think I could find some data that refutes what you have found (just not that interested), it makes me even more happy to believe that the tables are turning.

Wow, you found 6 "experts" who said the Cowboys will win. Clearly you refuted my 62% of the people who go to ESPN, and a lot more "experts" than 6.

No...no you didn't. I was lying. I'm sorry.

What I planned on doing is after the week is over, tallying what percentage each team was picked in the match ups. Also, every four weeks, tally how often each team was picked overall. So we'll get to see just who's picked less often, the Rams or the Lions :P

Apparently you've only been watching football a short time and are naive to the FACT that the Cowboys are usually favored over the Giants. I'm not lying.

Uhm...cry more?

What's that got to do with this week, in which most experts and most of America are favoring the Giants? I'm picking the Cowboys because they impressed me more, and I feel have the better quarterback. We'll see what happens Sunday though. The Giants have been known to rattle Romo. It's not a game I care much about, I just found it weird you were acting like people picking the Giants was some kind of comeback story.

i think all he was saying is that in the past picking the giants over the cowboys was rarely if ever done

and he is happy that it seems that is no longer the case

Because it is. The Giants are seldom favored over the beloved Cowboys.

BTW - They were picking the Cowboys on Sirius this morning too. And don't discredit my sources since all of yours came from ESPN who everyone seems to complain about.

I'm done with this lame conversation and your wise guy attitude. buh-bye.

I changed one pick: B-More over San Diego. Not to be more popular around here, but I just gave it more thought AND S.D. will be without their Center (and again, if we can beat 'em.....then so probably can the Ravens). Good Luck!

So far we have 16 people in this so far. Not too bad. Remember, tomorrow is the last day to change any picks you may have changed your mind about. When I wake up sunday, I'll tally the picks and they'll be entered.

Here's an example of what I may, keyword, may be doing for something such as a grid, Warden.

I was looking for the code of conduct so I could see what the image limits are again (I can't remember for the life of me), but it seems to have disappeared. So if one of the mods happen across here, lemme know if you want this shrunk or not.

Week Two picks have been entered and tallied. Here are how this week's picks stacked up:

Green Bay, Minnesota, and Washington were the only unanimous picks this week.

Arizona/Jacksonville, Oakland/Kansas City, and Seattle/San Francisco are the toss-up picks this week.

The away teams are favored over the home teams, 9 to 7.

Good luck this week, everyone. Standings will be posted monday night after the Indianapolis/Miami game is finished.
