Players To Pick Up After Week 1

Already I think we can see some emerging trends and there are some players available who I think should be picked up. I will list a few of mine and then I'd love for this to be a continuing topic.

FEEL FREE TO ADD ON!

TE Jeremy Shockey (looks to be a big part of the Saints offense and a goal line weapon)

RB Julius Jones (could be the feature back in Seattle, can catch too!)

WR Patrick Crayton (looks to be the #2 in Dallas - Romo could throw his way quite a bit)

Again, I'd like as many people as possible to contribute, I think it benefits everyone.

In a 10-12 person league all of these guys are already on teams probably. Julius Jones only plays well against the Rams. I have him on my team, and did last year as well. He'll be a bum like always.

Earl Bennett - WR Bears - Looks to be a solid #2 when Cutler gets going.
Kenny Britt - WR Titans
Pierre Garcon - WR Colts - #2 guy for a while after Gonzalez went down.

I play in a pretty good league and Shockey and Crayton were both available I snatched them this morning.

My problem with Shockey is he's on the Saints.

The only consistent fantasy performer on the Saints is Drew Brees. Everybody else is a crap shoot week to week. Shockey might have a great week in week 1. But then he'll be non-existent in week 2 & 3. Same can be said for Colston, Moore, Devery Henderson, Robert Maceachem, Bush and P Thomas.

You also have to take in mind that the high power Saints offense was playing the now 0-18 Lions in a dome.

None of those players will be available in deep leagues

do you mean lions? and I thought they were 0-18? or did they win their last game of the 07 season?
