The Solution To Our Quarterback Situation!

the Ravens want to put Troy in when he's fully developed into the type of player we all have seen in his college days and look forward to seeing that same poise, skill, leadership, humility, vision, speed and composure. on the Football field of the national level. But for right now, he's not yet ready to take the offense. yes he's shown improvement as the practices and days go on and yes he's shown us that he can be the type of player we all saw at Ohio State, but for the most part during the pre-season, thats all we saw......flashes, there was no consistancy (drive after drive, play after play, time and time again).......once he's learned to do these things and perform up to NFL standards. only then should we put him in the starting role......right now, lets just let this year be a "learning" year for him to watch and learn "oh ok this is what i should do" and "ok thats what i should do and to not do something this way because this will bad result will happen" and what not

All the While, building his confidence and make him believe in himself.

Go Ravens!

now isnt the time to put troy smith in if you recall he wasnt that good in the preseason against 2nd and 3rd string defenses....what makesu think they can throw him in now when they still got the patriots and the colts.....wait til next preseason and make him earn his starting job.....let him outplay mcnair and boller before they put him in there

he most certainly has the potential, we've all seen how he could play (from his college play) we just need to give him some time to learn everything about being a proper Quarterback in the NFL.

like i said dont start him but get him some snaps in practice with the starters you cant build chemistry if u dont have your team kno what u can do yea he didnt have huge success against second and third string defense because our second and third string offense is ten times worse than our starters you cant do good alone and we all know he can be great if he melds with his guys
