You know what this may be part of the reason that Cam called so many passing plays early. I'd hope it was actually in his gameplan to exploit the Chiefs secondary but if someone said this inspired the pass happy attack we saw yesterday, I wouldnt be surprised.

And Mason was in line to have an absolutely stellar game. I think he had two sideline catches which were a few inches short of being completions. And a touchdown reception which was a hare too long.

Reporter asked coach if he heard negative comments prior to game towards Raven players from Keyshawn and CHris Carter.

Coach didn't talk specifics, but said he wasn't too impressed by that.

What did those two fools say?

PS Our running game is gonna be top 3 in the league if not #1 as far as production.

Keyshawn said he wishes he was half the man Mason is. Or something like that.

LOL. Not true, but right on. :D

Keyshawn ran his mouth and called B-more receivers bums. Mason kayo'd him verbally, then Flacco and the "bums" made him look like an idiot on the field.

Hey Ranger, not sure if I'm confusing you with someone else, but aren't you the Vikings fan?
If so, not too happy with you and your ilk right now...my fantasy team played against AD this weekend

Yeah, huuuuuge Vikes fan since I was a little boy and our quarterback was a raging alcoholic. I've always liked the Ravens for their nasty D and power running, but once you guys signed my boy Birk I became a full time B-more nut-hugger.

Ah, cant say I blame you. Losing a guy like that is a tough pill to swallow.
But hey at least he came to a team where he has a chance of winning a SB and is not in your conference, rather than going to some doosh team like Dallas.

Mason isn't lying about Keyshawn being lucky. That Tampa defense was LOADED. Sapp, Simeon Rice, Brooks, Barber and Lynch; that's just nasty.

XD Sapp is hilarious. Too bad his career fell into a black hole.

Not even Randy Moss could do well there. That's crazy.

This doesn't really surprise me. ESPN is always hating on us.

I always hated Keyshawn. What a moron.
I think that there is a skewed perception about people "hating" on the Ravens. It's not true. If anything, B-More flies under the radar a bit, getting a disproportionally small amount of media attention when compared to their accomplishments. This is especially true this season, where they are a team coming off of an AFC Championship game appearance in which they pushed the eventual NFL Champions to the limit.

Perception will change, though, if Flacco and the Ravens offense can continue to be so productive. Putting up yards and points, when coupled with the same stifling defense that has been the Raven calling card for the past decade, is surely going to make the media stand up and take notice of what's happening.

Yep, you want respect you need to kick some tail and win a couple SBs. Or change your name to NE or Pittsburgh. <_<

The wide receivers were particularly upset by Johnson's comment that "you want a bum, you pay a bum." article from the sun

look who showed him our wrs played welll sunday.

"Keyshawn Johnson is the bum, that's why he's in the analyst seat," wide receiver Derrick Mason told CBS Sports after Sunday's game.

im a 100 % beside derrik he is truly one of the leaders on the team along with joe, matt birk, and todd heap.

ps:i think you guys might of already discused this, but i wanted to prove a point

Being a leader isn't calling an analyst a "bum." Being a leader is about proving that they in fact aren't "bums." There was no need to tell Keyshawn anything. In fact, I would've liked it if someone talked to Johnson about his earlier comments. Leaders know how to keep their cool.
