Flacco is throwing way to high!
[/quote]

Yes he is on too many passes and that has me concerned going forward. I'm not happy about that. Most of those could have been completions. Should have been... I'm not happy

My thoughts.

- Interesting seeing harbaughs background as a special teams coach because our special teams was terrible.

- The defensive play calling was pretty bad. We can't sit back and rush 4 down linemen without any confusion against any other team specially the steelers if we expect to be competive this season.

- To many misstakes

- Did anyone else notice Mason droped a hell of alot of passes for himself?

- ABSOLUTELY Loved the use of mcclain, Short yardage ONLY and FB screens.

- Mcgaheee looked great as did rice

- Passing game was awesome, great to see those big passes when it counted. Good game from JOE

- O line was TREMENDOUS

- I'm glad stover is gone it was time IMO, but Hausaska scares the hell out of me and I do not think he is the answer.

-Think Oher and Gaither should switch.
-501 offensive yards and 188 defensive yards is so misleading. Both sides did good for the most part. That punt block and int screwed us.
-on that note, fire Jerry Rosburg. 2nd season in a row I have watched this team struggle on ST.
-Whoever said Ed Reed can't hit is high on glue.
-Comfortable with having Clayton and Washington if Mason does retire next year
-Frank Walker played pretty darn good today on ST and defense. He was the only one really.

Anyone else feel like Reed is playing wide open this year. I saw Reed stop the run for a loss today, it's been a few years since they dialed him in for that from FS.

It has been a while. I was surprised that they were using him for punt returns.

Either he feels great, or he wants to go out with a bang. I'm hoping he feels great.

Someone explain to me why the media is acting like Sanchez had a amazing day when Flacco threw over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns for the first time in his career and like in our franchise record.

The atmosphere at M&T Bank Stadium was INSANE today. Damn near lost my voice from all the shouting I did! Today was one of those rare games where I was more excited to see the offense on the field than the defense! Of course, the defense did its job well today, especially in the first half, but Flacco and that offense was OUTSTANDING. It almost took me back to watching a Delaware game with Flacco under center -- except, of course, it was a much larger (and louder) stadium against a much better defense. But the command he showed was just amazing and it really seems as if all the preseason hype around him was justified.

And let me just say...that first TD pass to McGahee on that broken play got the biggest reaction out of me since last year's season opener when Flacco ran for his first NFL TD. I mean, big in the sense that I was jumping up and down like a little kid and veins were probably popping in my neck and I could've easily lost my voice with the way I yelled on that one play alone.

Goosebumps, just thinking about it...

The score was not the story of this game the Chiefs had one 1st down for most of 3 quarters, just need to get rid of costly mistakes.

I'll throw in my two cents.

- In My opinion we threw way too much. I know it's time to take the hand cuffs off Joe but the running game and chewing the clock is what we do best. Joe threw 43 times, way too much IMO. We need to keep joe in the mid 20's to low 30's in the number of passes he attempts.

- Joe looked great. The way he kept plays alive when it looked like he was going to be sacked was just unbelievable. Especially the TD to Willis, that shocked me on how long Joe kept it alive.

- Offensive line was GREAT! I remember one of the announcers saying Joe could have balanced his check book with all the time he had to throw. The way the line played he could have went back to Westminister than back to the stadium. I don't think anyone is doubting taking Michael Oher now.

- HE's BACK........ Heap played well and could be a good target for Joe all season.

Things to work on:
- Looking at the schedule coming up, they need to get back to running the ball and controlling the clock. If they had done that most of the game I think KC don't come close to beating us. Especially with next week against SD and coming up with NE. Keeping Rivers and Brady off the field as much as possible will be key to those games. The way you keep them off the field is control the clock with your run game. I'll throw in Minnesota and not because of Favre but because of AP. The longer AP is off the less of a chance he has of snapping the 100 yard streak.

- Penalties. We need to keep them at a minium. Too much we gave up yards on penalties on drives that were important.

Side Note: I know Willis got in the next play but did anyone notice how Willis pushed and got in the end zone or at most the ball broke the plane and they said it wasn't a TD. Well, Well, Well lets see the Santino Holmes play wasn't even close to the breaking the plane and it was called a TD but yet Willis does break the plane and the call is a no TD? The refs are contradicting themselfs aren't they. Just seeing if anyone else noticed that.

Remember, this is his first real NFL game with the Ravens. Let's see next week.
