Game time for the sold out contest is 1 p.m. The Ravens, 11-5 and a Wild Card entrant to the playoffs last season, are led by head coach John Harbaugh. The Chiefs, who struggled to a 2-14 mark a year ago, are directed by new head coach Todd Haley, who was the offensive coordinator of the NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals in ’08.

This is the 2nd consecutive season that the Ravens have opened at home. Last year (9/8), rookie QB Joe Flacco helped Baltimore to a 17-10 victory over the visiting Bengals.This starts Coach Harbaugh’s 2nd season as the mentor of the Ravens. The new defensive coordinator is Greg Mattison, who replaces Rex Ryan, now the head coach of the Jets. Well we'll see back when the Ravens go to San Diego. I'll be at the next Ravens home game against the Brownies.

I'm looking forward to this game thread. My fiancee is out of town for the weekend. Just me, video games and football. Whoo-hoo.

And in case not everyone does that, you can set your own options to not display them. That speeds up your page refresh. You can do that in "My Settings" then select the Forums options.

I have all signatures turned off. They are starting to get out of hand. It's a lot easier to peruse the boards now.

I keep all the bells and whistles off also, I even upgraded my browser and it did not help:lol: Keeping the video's off will help everyone with the refreshing the pages.

White on white. I heard Harbaugh doesn't like the black pants.

The chicken is marinating, the car is decorated and loaded (except for the stuff that goes in the cooler in the morning). My tickets are in my wallet. I think I'm ready for tailgate. All I have to do is remember to set the alarm clock. December was a looooooooong time ago.

My house smells soooo good, apple pies, beef barbeq, chicken barbeq and Italian sausage green peppers and Onions, and tailgate pasta--can you say overkill?:lol: I may do taco dip and cookies too.

Wait. Then why did they wear them all last season? And I beg to differ that white on black are sick, white on white are blah.

I am so glad that I won't have to be a slave to these maps anymore. A person in Maryland should be able to watch the game no matter what time the Redskins play.

I hope we wear the black pants with white jerseys. Or even better purple jerseys with black pants. btw it looks sick in madden 10. Im kinda ognna be bumed if we wear all white, I for one cant stand them, but once we get our first td, it wont matter anymore

i am 99% sure we wont be wearing white on white. Thats just what we wear in pre season. Thats what happened last year aswell. I could almost guarantee we will wear white on black again.

Man im pumped for this game. Ive got my alarm set for 4:30 am to get up and watch this thing live. Im so excited. I wont be getting any sleep tonight.

I've heard one of those digital receivers with a decent antenna can get Baltimore stations well into Redskins country, oh and go Ravens!

I hear ya my nervousness has kicked in already it does every game even on weekls like this where it should be a simple victory.didn't sleep alot last night either but it'ss change once the game starts. Ravens Football,if you don't like it you better learn to love it because it's the best thing going today!!!! wooooooo!

Surprise, Surprise! The game is being broadcast in my local market - thank God CBS thinks that people in St. Louis want to watch the Chiefs!
