Draft sleepers

Who will be this year's draft sleepers?

So far, Ben Patrick, TE from the University of Delaware looks to be a great value pick somewhere in the third or fourth round. He can block better than Miami's Greg Olsen, and he has reliable hands, which made him an All-American last season.

He transferred from Div I-A Duke and finished his senior year at Div I-AA Delaware, and yet, ended up in a better situation despite what many would view as subpar competition. Though UD is a smaller school, it has a much better football program than Duke, and as Patrick himself put it in an interview citing his reasons for leaving for Delaware, "the school actually cares about football."

He impressed in the Senior Bowl and had a decent combine workout, opening up a few eyes in the process. I think Ben Patrick will be legitimately be one to watch in the near-future.

Who else, in your opinion, falls under the category of draft-day sleepers?

Kenny Irons of Auburn will probably be a late 2nd to 4th round pick. He could be the next Rudi Johnson, mid-rounder out of Auburn, type of back. In three years, he could be better than Lynch and even Peterson.

I think Kenny Irons would be a good pick, so long as he displays a bit more toughness and can take defenders in one-on-one blocking situations.

Can't believe Ben Patrick fell all the way to the 7th round and got picked up by Arizona, after he was slated to be a 3rd or 4th round pick...

Needless to say, I'll still support my hometown boy, though...
