It is obvious that are rival right now is the steelers as we have probably one of the best rivalries in the League going. I was wondering yesterday who everyone thought was our biggest rival while we were in the AFC central (up until 2001). I remember really looking forward to playing the Titans but also looked forward to playing the Jags and the Steelers.

Titans. We seemed to always go back and forth with them on wins, they came into the league shortly before us too so that always added to the game.

The rivalry went to another level when we beat them in Tennessee in the playoffs. Eddie George really liked playing us! :P

We used to have a pretty fierce rivalry with Jacksonville - couldn't beat them for years. Then we beat them with the Tony Banks-led comeback in Week 2 of the Super Bowl season, which was a defining moment for this franchise.

Having said that, I really don't like the Jags and am not bothered that we no longer play them on a regular basis. I'd like to play the Titans every year though - they still hate us (mainly due to Ray owning Eddie George, Billick and the fact we keep beating them in their house) but it's a great city to visit with great fans, who despite their obvious distaste for us are still very polite!

That was an awesome game. But the series was too one sided especially early on be considered much of a rivalry. I have too agree with you on the titans. It was always a fun watch as you knew both teams were going to bring it. It is a nice city though and their fans are like you said polite (unlike most steelers fans).
