Vikings Release Wr Bobby Wade

6 posts in this topic

plenty of sources if you care enough to go out and look...

6 year pro, has led the vikings in receptions the past two years with over 50 in each.. has shown glimpses of excellence along with numerous forgettable games..

what do you guys think of him? at 28, does he still have upside?

im not trying to start yet another "pick him up" thread, just curious to see what you guys/gals think about him...

I just wish this had happened at the beginning of summer. You had to believe he'd be the odd man out after the drafting of Percy Harvin and the steady play of Bernard Berrian and Sidney Rice. But, it's too late in the game to grab him and expect him to produce immediate results (I know you said that's not what this thread is about.)

We're already set at the top 4 WR spots, so any receiver we grab is expected to either be the #5 guy or step in immediately as a #3 or better.

couldnt agree more.

at the same time, whats the next step IYO? if mason retires after this year, and our #2, #3, and #4 WRs all become free agents, what do you think is the best course of action?

The fact that Clayton, D. Will and Washington have all had below average statistical seasons, they shouldn't be that expensive to resign... and the Ravens should seriously consider a WR in the first 2 rounds next draft.
