It's like choosing between a giant **** and a turd sandwich (props to those of you that get this reference). As it was stated before, a Steelers loss is the best for the team, even though I totally despise the Titans. On a unrelated note, remember back to the 06 draft where the Texans took Mario Williams #1 overall? Wasn't everyone and their brother questioning why the Texans didn't take Vince Young or Reggie Bush? Just some food for thought...

Nope, I don't remember that one. But do you remember Hines Ward's "greatest hits?" How about the fact that Tomlin told him to keep doing it even though it's now against the rules?
No one seems to think the Pittsburgh Steelers are classless because of that, but it's almost like the Titans are measured by another standard.
Haynesworth is gone anyway, so if you're going to dislike a team just because of him, it's time to start rooting for the teams that play the Redskins.

How many Ravens fans complain about the td in the second Steelers game? How many Cowboys fans whine about their playoff losses? How many Cardinals fans complain about the refs calls in the SuperBowl? Steelers fans whine about the Patriots (and for that matter, so do Ravens fans). Every fanbase is going to complain about something; especially close games.

Go Titans! It would be nice if the first SB defending champions to lose kickoff are the Steelers.

Why any Raven fan would want the Steelers to win (and vise versa for that matter) is beyond me. We have the best rivalry in the NFL. It would be like Red Sox fans cheering for the Yankees.

There are only 2 games each week that I get really excited about. They are the Ravens to watch them win and the Steelers to watch them lose.

i was there at the playoff game in 2000 in teneessee. And there was someone there in the parking lot stomping on a toy Raven (I think, it may have been a real dead bird, i dont remember but i do remember that game!) Like any fan base they have their good fans and their a-hole fans who drink too much and then want to fight you.

i do remember though walking back to the car after the game and all the Titans fans were really angry and disappointed and it was really quiet (you could hear a pin drop). We were walking on a bridge over a little creek and there was one guy talking on his cell phone kind of loud and another teneessee fan grabbed the phone, pushed the guy, used some off color language and threw the phone as far as he could in the creek. That was hilarious. The guy who had his phone stolen and destroyed didnt say a word.

I have no idea why this is even a question. Steelers are in division. We want the Titans to win for sure.

But it will be interesting. I think the Titans have a lot of questions to answer. They lost their best player on defense in Haynesworth, how much of a difference did he make? Will Chris Johnson be able to match the same level of production he did last year? Will Collins continue to manage the game for the Titans, or will he start making costly mistakes?

This is a good test for the Titans to see if last year was really a fluke, or the real deal. I'm hoping they are the real deal and that they can take out the Steelers early.

First of all, why am I a "so-called" Ravens fan because I bash the Titans? You make no sense at all. If anything it makes me a "better" Ravens fan for talking crap about one of our most hated rivals.

Secondly, how can YOU not comprehend why people are confused by your poll when your poll and the thread subtitle are the only contradictory things I've seen so far?

You are questioning my intelligence/ comprehension skills because i can't understand a poorly written question? Again, I don't know why you are blaming others when you originally had something different and that WAS confusing.

And, again, this shouldn't be allowed on this forum. I could be a Steelers fan and come on here and make a poll asking which team I wanted to lose, the Ravens or the Steelers, and then after everyone voted for the Steelers to lose, change the wording of question to ask which team I wanted to win and everyone's response would still be Steelers. I don't know if the mods can make the original posts in poll threads unchangeable, [or make the polls themselves unchangeable], but that would be nice.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it as a personal attack. I really think the original poster was trying to clarify things with changing the wording of the poll [then maybe he was doing a little dance to downplay that]. My rant was more about the possibility of someone doing it on purpose to skew results and because some other posters were misunderstanding the reason for the results of this one.

I like the Texans a lot this year. A lot of quality players (you can't find a better WR as a person than Andre Johnson). Plus I have Schaub, Johnson and Slayton on one of my fantasy teams (not all on the same team, each on different).

I actually agreed with the fact that I made a boo-boo on the questioning. Thats what rookies like myself through trial and error do. I corrected it.
