Thats great. Every time someone calls you out, you manipulate your post.

If you want to know the real reason why we aren't ranked higher is because we lost to the Steelers three times. And this year we have to face New England, San Diego, Pittsburgh twice, Green Bay and Minnesota.

We have to prove that we can beat "better" teams this year. Not just beat up on above average to below average teams this season.

Until we prove that, this is where we get ranked.

Keep putting up your stats, but I highly doubt that the reason we are ranked where we are at is because the so called experts think we are "due" for a losing season. Thats retarded.

You come up with your own concept though, isn't that the point of the forum? For other peoples ideas?

Still waiting for your "apology" on misreading my original post.

You're eyesight must be bad, it says LAST IN OUR DIVISION FOR THREE YEARS...

This is what I said

Once again, these other teams have longevity of have concurrent winning seasons.
Our concurrent history is 3 years of last place in our division from 96-2000
[/quote]

What are you looking at?!?!?!?!? Last place in 1998 would have 5th!!!! 4 is higher than 5. We finished 4th in 1998. Thats not last place! That would be called "second to last place".

Are you saying that you are considering 4th place in a 5 team division as "last" in our division because we finished in the bottom half of the division?

Its because its true..

The Ravens best season was 2000, with a 12-4 record, 2nd in division
2001 was a 10-6, 2nd in division
(This was our best 2 years)
2002 7-9
2003 10-6
2004 9-7
2005 6-10
2006 13-3
2007 5-11
2008 11-5

Then our first 4 years were one year at .50, and the rest sucked.

By my count, we have had three losing seasons in the first nine years of the decade. In other words, we've literally had two winning seasons for each time we had a sub-.500 record.
Twice this decade we followed a winning season with a sub-.500 record; that hardly is enough to establish any sort of pattern. Even if it were, so what? What does the year 2005 have to do with how we perform this year?

So much for the alternating win/lose season theory.

Don't bother, he'll just keep manipulating his words to try to validate his statement.

Ah, I could care less what those stuffed shirts have to say; it's bad enough for them to perpetuate ignorance about us, but when our own people do it and validate their Golden(rod) Boy agenda, that's just too much...

You're not badgering me, you're just looking like a fool for arguing over something you didn't read correctly.

Trust me, I know my stats. The reason I am where I am, is because I work in the industry.

Speaking of "experts"...

SI.com has the Ravens at 4th in the power rankings, with NE #1 and Pittsburgh #2... Not surprising.

And GB at #3!! :P

Please stop addressing your comments to each other and stick to the subject of the thread. You're both violating the Code of Conduct.

You're right. I'm done. I'm a little more fired up this week with the season starting up.

Even though my wife loves the Ravens, she also dreads football season due to my emotional ups and downs.

For 16 weeks my mood for each one of those weeks is driven by Ravens wins and losses.
