Cassell Reportedly Questionable For Sunday's Game

It does not really matter. Unless they suddenly have a defense, we'll walk on them. Cassel will be exposed for what he is, a product of a GREAT New England offense.

The Chiefs have never lost in Baltimore....3 - 0

I hope the Ravens win, I am confident, but even strong man walks warily through a lions den.

The latest I am hearing is that, barring a setback in practice, Cassel is going to start.

New Yahoo article says, "Chiefs QB Cassel may not be ready for opener"...

Even though this has the makings of a trap game, it's hard to see Matt Cassel doing particularly well even if he plays. And if he doesn't play, does anyone (even the KC faithful) think Brodie Croyle will get the job done? I even find it hard to believe that Croyle has beaten out Tyler Thigpen to be the #2 QB; if anything, that has the makings of trade bait (as rumors have suggested) and politics rather than an actual football decision. For all we know, Thigpen could've refused to take a demotion behind the scenes just to make way for Cassel so new head coach Todd Haley could've easily forced Thigpen to be the #3 QB while finding a trade suitor. I don't understand how Thigpen couldn't have beaten out Brodie Croyle, of all people, for the backup QB job...

Then again, a lot of things in KC puzzle me. Not more than the moves made in Denver, anyway... (What's up with all these questionable decisions made by these new head coaches?)
