I've seen some pretty crazy predictions this year, but this might be the most insane. I think it's kind of cool when someone goes out on a limb (already tired of people picking New England since Brady's back), but this guy fell out of the tree.

He has our Ravens finishing third behind the Bengals since we are now "Rex Ryan-less". How many times have we heard that so far this year? Look at his prediction for the AFC West. He's picking Kansas City. KC will be lucky to win 5 games this year. After we beat KC by 3 touchdowns this Sunday, we should e-mail this guy and ask him if he's actually ever watched football before this year.

He has Dallas and Washington making the playoffs. So, he really thinks they will finish ahead of the Giants and Philly? I could possibly see Dallas (slight chance), but Washington?

It's hard to believe some of these people get paid to write these columns.

I wont waste my time clicking the link after you summed it up. I dont want to punch my monitor lol. But seriously Dallas making the playoffs is a joke. KC making playoffs is a joke. Atleast Skins have a defense. As for the Bengals, I think they will be a really good team and they will be second in the division. But it will be Pittsburgh who will fall to the 3rd spot.

Well he picked KC you know, because of the whole Matt Cassel had a nice season and hes from NE. I agree with you on how sports columnists get paid to write articles and they are so biased, and have almost no idea about whats really going on in sports

Steelers in 3rd, OMG, no way, you're crazy!!! Ha, just kidding, to each his own when it comes to predictions. I mean, to claim that the Bengals will be any better than 3rd in the division is just ridiculous.

Predicting that the Steelers/Ravens finish 1 & 2, not saying which team is 1st and 2nd, is a reasonable prediction because there is a track record to go by and their teams have tangible assets which in turn have produced wins for the past decade for both of these organizations.

Picking the Bengals to finish above either the Steelers/Ravens is just a fashionable pick based on "potential" and not actual analysis.

If you want to know my prediction for the Bengals it's from the best Rocky nemesis.

"Prediction? Pain."--- Mr.T

And for the record, I don't agree either that the Ravens will finish in 3rd this year.

As for KC, don't forget how many of their games they lost by less than 1 TD last season. Their record was not indicative of how competitive they were in most of their games. Being that its the West and Oakland is Oakland, San Diego underperforms all the time and well Denver is in shambles, I don't think KC is that crazy of a choice.

"He has our Ravens finishing third behind the Bengals since we are now "Rex Ryan-less" "

Marvin Lewis - less , Mike Nolan-less, Rex Ryan-less. blah blah blah

I mean did any of these guys make any tackles or intercept passes ???

Far as I am concerned we now have a BETTER chance of beating NE now that there isn't some guy on the sidelines calling a timeout right before we stop them on 4th and one.

I actually think the Redskins will win that division this year. But yeah, here is no way the Bengals are finishing ahead of the Ravens. And there is no way the Chiefs are finishing ahead of the Chargers. The Raiders might even have a better record than the Chiefs by the end of the season.

Bengals have a very good defense now and unlike Pittsburgh, they have an actual offense to go with it. I really think Pitt will fall from grace this year for not adding to there OLine and bringing in quality offensive players. Heath Miller and Santonio Holmes cant do it all themselves and all you gotta do is yell at Limas Sweed when he is about to make a catch for a guaranteed drop.

I stop calling them "experts". They are just guys with really cool, low paying jobs.

The next person who thinks the Ravens are going to suck without Rex Ryan, I may have to kill, not literally. A matter of fact, I think that are defense could be better then last years because sometimes in Rex Ryan's scheme, we would get beat in the passing game because we would send 7-8 guys at a time blitzing. It would work, but other times we would get beat for a long passing play.

Also, our new coordinator wasnt picked up from another team and brought a whole new scheme with him, no, we are still a blitzing, aggressive, take chances type of defense. Take a look at the way are first team defense looked in the preseason. I know it's only the preseason, but they looked great against the other ones around the league.

One final note is that the reason why we had such a great defense for years isnt because of Rex Ryan, who only coordinated for like 3 seasons, but Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis is the leader of the defense, not Rex Ryan, and as long as he's here, I'm not the least bit concerned of a chance our defense being out of the top five.

This guy picks Baltimore to win it all. I agree with him. It's nice having SOMEONE pick your team, even if everybody else goes with the "fashionable" picks.

I think the Bengals will surprise people this year. I think they have enuff offense and probably a better D than the previous 2 seasons. If that proves to be true, the steelers may end up 3rd in the division. Howeeeeevvvvaaaa, I would count on it! It doesn't hurt to hope though. Not that we're cheering for the Bengals, But wouldn't mind the Steelers falln from glory.

Yea, but look at this track record.

2004 » Eagles, lost Super Bowl
2005 » Panthers, lost in NFC championship
2006 » Seahawks, lost in divisional playoffs
2007 » Saints, missed playoffs
2008 » Cowboys, missed playoffs

lol, this is mad funny! Rocky 3 is a hilarious movie. I find Mr.T very funny in that movie. The reporter asked him about predictions for his upcoming fight. He said "Predictions"? and then looked at the tv screen and said "Pain"! lol

he had made the right call with the Time Out there, if he didn't call it and they had made the first down.... We would all be complaining about why he didn't call a time out..... so really your not putting him in a fair position there

ESPN's "experts" predicting Baltimore's season. Almost everyone of them says the D will take a step back without Ryan.
