Patriots Win But Show They Are Vulnerable In The Process

9 posts in this topic

sure the Patriots won the much talked about, much anticipated match-up between the two teams, which the Pat's pulled out of victorious, but just barely......they did show that they can be beat, and at times during the game, manning made them look like High School players out there. The One thing the Colts did do in this game was Show other teams in the NFL, that the Patriots are not invincible and can be beat. Brady was intercpeted more than once by the Colts Defense and at times, mad the Patriots offense, look confused.

Like I said before, neither team will go undefeated...because they have to come through Baltimore. Let's hope our guys learned something from this game.

the Patriots offense looked (at times) confused, did anyone else notice that?....in the first half of the game, Brady only threw 100 yards (or somewhere around there, idk the actual number) and was picked off twice!........only proving to everyone, that the Pat's can be beat, you just got to play SMART football.

Must be because they no longer have their video of the Eagles.

JonM...you wrote the above the day after the Pats beat the Colts. So far, you've been proved half-right, the Pats have eliminated both Dallas and Indy from the undefeated ranks. Thirty-one are "down"; just one remains! Are you ready for some football? Santa's not the only one comin' to town! HA!

Andy Reid is a a coach with great big balls and a cholesterol issue but balls none-the-less. They were very aggressive on bothsides of the ball and it caught the Pats off guard. They adjusted and won but the Eagles did do alot of things right that would help in beating the Patriots.

Although Bill Belichick respects him highly, MY "jury" is still out on Reid, ever since they had that "mental freeze" as time was ticking away during their Super Bowl. Plus, I DO NOT agree with the way he was so one-sided in favoring "Downagain" over TO during their...crisis. However, he was able to bring, into Foxborough, something very few teams have been able to do...unleash some nasty fury upon the Pats! An awful lot of that is due to coaching...and it was a lot more than anyone anticipated, obviously! it made absolute shambles of that rediculous spread!

Your coach, Brian Billick (Did I spell that right? HA!), is another one whom Belichick respects and appreciates. Throw the records out...this promises to be another dog fight! OOPS! Sorry! I meant no disrespect towards Michael Vick...after all, my Father was a VaTech grad...and, at one time...back when he died in 1994, had been their oldest living alumni!

However...GO Boston College!!! HA! New England just can't seem to get enough these days!!!
