Ellerbe isnt getting away from us. If he's still hurt, he'll be on IR come Saturday. That will let us hold his rights until next year. Atleast, I hope.

No, they just want to give him some experience...since this is hopefully the last chance Beck will get in game situations until next preseason.

I guess the ploy is. Gano's last chance is to show how versatile he is.

Also Beck isn't getting cut. They planned on him playing the whole game. They do not want to risk injury to Flacco or Smith. And they want to make sure Beck gets his amount of Reps in, just incase he's needed this season.
