Broncos Interested In Trade With Jets

Evidently the Broncos would trade Marshall for LB David Harris and an undisclosed draft pick. What do you all think of countering the Jets trade (they've already messed with our people enough) and offering Jarret Johnson and a 3rd or 4th round pick for Marshall? Do we still have enough cap room to offer him a contract? I dont think that sounds half bad, we've got a few guys that could do almost as good as a job as JJ

You know what? I stopped caring. Rex Ryan can take his WR, Mark Sanchez can take his WR, and the Jets can take their WR. The pressure will be on Marshall, Sanchez, and Ryan to preform, it probably won't go the way they would like it to go, they won't win the division, and I doubt they will get that last Wild Card spot (because the 1st one automatically goes to Pitts or us, lol), so what's there to worry about. He's the next T.O., he'll be there for a year, problems will develop, and be out of there.

That would equate to JJ and a 1st rounder - anyone agree with paying [b]that[/b][size="4"][/size] price???

I think JJ would be a little under the asking price. David Harris is a beast. And he's pretty young. Led the team in tackles his rookie season w/ 117.

Suggs might be a bit closer to their asking price. Which would actually be above asking price.

Why am I even debating this, I do not know. I want the Jets to trade for Brandon Marshall so the talk can stop.

JJ is nowhere near as good as Harris...They're asking WAY too much.

No, we do not want to trade JJ, and we do not want Marshall. He has more problems then a math book. Now I really want him to go to the Jets so Raven fans would stop talking about it.

Sanchez will be exposed as not being that great, Marshall wont get the numbers that will be top 3 in the league and he will want to be traded again.

I dont think the Bronco's are serious about trading Marshall to the Jets at all. To me it sounds like a ploy to get the Jets to back off, because if I am not mistaken the Jets contacted them.

They ask for an untradeable player, yes in NY David Harris is one of those guys, and force the Jets to backoff because they wont be willing to trade that guy. I dont think they have any intent on trading him and I dont think they do. They will get another shot at trading him next offseason and his cap hit really isnt that big this year. The Bronco's have nothing to lose by playing hardball with Marshall, they are already going to suck this year and Marshall isnt going to pack it in and not give his all for them , he'd only be hurting his future contract more by doing that.

Is this actually a substantiated story or bogus???

I know ESPN claims its true, but that's ESPN (didn't bother reading the article - but I work with about 1,000 Jets fans). But, I hear on NFL Network (on Sirius) that "There is no truth to the rumors." Not sure what to believe at this point. Plus, I heard McDaniels say they are not interested at all, not even a little bit.
