......."I think I got a taste of what the fans go through on a weekly basis in the NFL or NBA or baseball, where you don't really know what's going on. It was hard to get over watching it on TV. I could walk away and go to the bathroom, but I can't do that in real life."

Yeah, Pryce adds so much more value to the pass rush....this might even make up for McAlister's absence. Because Suggs was very muched double-teamed by all the games, he didnt get a chance to get sacks. Now, the gamepan for the other team has to be moreso focused on Pryce so suggs will be able to log more sacks, along with pryce getting passrush anyways.

Exactly. With a proven ProBowl DE in the lineup, the entire pass-blocking system changes for the other team. They have to decide if the want to double Pryce or Suggs (maybe even both, which takes away a receiver). This leads to more LBs have open lanes to rush the passer. We could see a bunch of sacks and mistakes by Little Ben if Trevor is on his A game.

Yeah, we can rattle "Little Ben" lol. But now im unsure of how we will fare against the steelers, especially without Rolle and McAlister. all we can do is watch and pray.....

PLUS it'll cause the O-Line to decide whether or not to Double up on either Pryce or Suggs, they have to make some sort of decision. which ultimately results in 1 guy (whether it be Pryce or Suggs, doesnt really matter) up and offer a free shot at the Quarterback.

Roethslisburger has shown time and time again that once he is pressured, he makes some big mistakes. And we all know he's going to be keeping an eye out for #57.

its a proven fact (for the most part) that when you put pressure on the QB and cause him to move out of the pocket, he becomes less comfortable and his throws are often under/over Thrown or picked off....so hopefully our defense can put the kind of pressure on him that is necessary and create Some turnovers and oppurtunities for our offense to score points.

In the past week, Roethlisburger has refused to comment on that hit he took from Bart Scott. I guess the last time he said anything about it was that it was the hardest he's ever been hit in his life (he said it after that game.) And this, coming from a guy who was in a motorcycle accident only three months earlier.

i think the reason why he didnt want to comment of that "touchy" subject is because, either the coach didnt want him to or the fact that He doesnt want to be even more worried/second guessing himself in this one (his first guess im hoping will turn out for the better for our team meaning, a turnover or a Defensive TD/fumble or something)

I hope they don't hurt him too much. I'd get worried if they brought Charlie Batch in. He's probably the best backup in the league (behind Boller, of course)
