I'm hoping Wilson is okay.

Yep that was awful. I hate how the annoucers never say anything bad about him either. Today on NFL Live they were saying how making that block earned the respect of his teammates as he would be willing to take a fine to make a block on a play that doesnt really matter and potentially end someone elses career.

That was Favre's like 2nd time ever in a wildcat formation. What ****** quarterback does know how to set up a clean block? Get the ****** out of here with that.

Wow, just when I thought I couldn't possibly lose more respect for that man. We are now firmly entrenched in the deep negatives.

There's no intent to injure the guy. It's just a pitiful, pitiful attempt to make a block. He sets it up all wrong. He just falls down into his knee.

Exactly!!!!!!

He had no intent to injure him, period. What that was, was a horrible attempt at blocking. He was afraid to hit him up high and injure himself so he basically just fell to the ground in front of the dude....

Bad form? yes...dirty intent? no

They were saying that he could have jacked the guy up and it would have been clean and nice, but then he went for the knees, not cool.

You're saying after 19 years in the league, Favre doesn't know what a crack-back block is, and that it's illegal? That it's illegal, 'cause it can end someone's career?

Don't let your admiration for him cloud your judgement - he's a lock for the HOF, but if he does that to Foxworth in Week 6, you're gonna be pissed off...

BRETT FAVRE IS THE EMPEROR OF EVIL BECAUSE I HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT HIM MORE THAN I'D LIKE.

Please. Enough anti-Favre crap.

On a side note, I loved hearing the crowd go wild when the ref doled out the penalty to "number 4".

Well, Favre has never really needed to know exactly what constitutes a crack back block. He's never been anything other than a pocket quarterback. It's less out-there than say, a veteran quarterback not knowing that a game can end in a tie.

That WAS pathetic, I'll grant you... :D

But you and I have never been exposed to NFL training camps, coaching staffs, film and all the talk that goes with it. We're fans, but they live it. It's their life's work, especially someone who does it for almost 2 decades. We've have posters here, who aren't that old.

That's why the excuse, "I didn't know any better", when you and I know what a crack back block is, doesn't wash in my book. He knows football, and surely knows what's legal or not...
