Light Rail For Handicap

3 posts in this topic

I wasn't sure the of the chances I would be able to get handicap parking for a game I am attending from Out of State and saw information about the Light Rail. Someone mentioned it would drop you off at the gate door, but I am still curious if this is a good idea. I use a cane to walk and cannot go long distances. Any advice would be greatful. Thank you.

The Light Rail brings you quite close to the stadium, but not right to the gate. You'll still need to walk up a (not too steep) ramp and across the plaza. It isn't far and is probably closer than any parking spot. Many handicapped fans use the Light Rail on game day.

I did the light rail on crutches and was able to do it. Handicapped spaces are not reserve able and are usually taken by 11 am. I also know there are limited wheelchairs to be used in the stadium. Also there is a drop off area if you do have someone else driving Website info. The stadium is very assessable except for 1 gate by the players entrance, they will not let you use the ramp for some reason.. B gate from the light rail the people are very helpful and it is usually not as crowded as A and D. Allow yourself extra time, and let the mad rush leave the stands and give the concourse time to empty. Also easier to get to the bathroom too.
