it's 3am and i just got home, so i don't feel like thumbing through the game thread. I had just a few questions. First, how did the Defense look against Carolina's run game? Also, how did Oher look (this should have been his biggest test so far) anything else you might want to add would be greatly appreciated!
Missed The Game!

Defense looked ok vs the run, not exactly great. Ngata wasn't out there on the first drive. Also don't forget Suggs was out. Kelly Gregg was out as well (McKinley replaced him). So our run defense is gonna improve a lot once these guys return.
As for Oher he struggled a bit. Peppers was invisible but their backup (don't remember his name, some rookie DE) beat him a couple times, Oher also got flagged once for holding i believe. Overall i wouldn't worry about him, he's shown more than enough the past 3 games. He'll be one of the better tackles in this league.

he was flagged for offsides and holding peppers was only visible onces in the back field. and Joe looked Spot on , Heap looks like he is almost back to his old ways , rice has become the rice burner as he torched thier D on screens , Kelly washington seems to be better then NE lead us to believe when we hired him . the greatest thing was while first string was in it was 14-3

Wouldn't say Peppers was invisible; he chased Joe out of the pocket a couple of times. And Peppers isn't know for his effort in preseason...
And his backup did cause him a couple of problems. Everette Brown. But I think Oher had moved over to LT by this point, so it's gonna be a bit different for him. Nothing to worry about, though. Mike will be fine.
You know that saying:' 2/3 of earth is covered by water, the other 1/3 is covered by Ed Reed'? Its not true. He bought a boat.
