Ray Rice is a unique comodity, to me he reminds me of a Darren Sproles, and we all know how he came on last year for the Blots! I see Willis losing a majority of the touches to Ray and eventually losing the job all together. I think the writing is on the wall. Willis is a great RB but it looks to me as if he takes some plays off. I was excited to see him come to B-Town, I thought it was a change that we needed, but unfortunately I really think he's not happy and that, to me, shows through his play.

take plays off? if he cant find a hole he will either force his way in or bounce outside. It will definitely be the "dash and flash" show. I saw nothing impressive by LeRon McClain with no Lorenzo Neal. McGahee he should get all redzone touches. Rice and Willis will compliment each other.

Forget last year. He was injured towards the end of the year and McGahee carried the rock well. I'm happy that Rice has looked as good as he has this pre-season and could have a big year barring injury.

I think with the key injuries last year,Suggs in particular being banged-up and Flacco being tested as a rookie in such a crucial, pivital match-up with the (Steelers), We got the right results last year. Think about it, No-one expected us to make it that far in 2009. The coaching stradegy was correct in my opinion because Power and experience would have given us a better edge instead of quickness and less experience. But, we could debate all day long about would couldv and shouldv been. I dont think the results wouldv been different wit Ray Rice in the Afc Championship game. Think about it Healthy/Hungry #1"D" Steelers vs Banged-up/Tired Ravens with rookie Qb/Coach. The proof was in the pudding. This year will be a different story though!!

I believe Cam is gonna use Ray the same way he used LT in San Diego. Tomlinson was always a great receiving threat, hopefully Rice will develop into one also.

What a pointless conversation, why dwell on the past? This discussion is so irrelevant its almost funny.

It's more discussing Rice's ability to produce in the future, based on what we've seen in the past. It's a valid discussion.
I know what you're thinking — "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But, being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

Did you see that step-back juke he did last night, that was sick. But why are people always saying Rice is better then McGahee, therefore we get rid of McGahee. I'm pretty sure 2 RB > 1 RB. Come on, this isn't a Madden Franchise were you can only really play one the whole game to get good stats.

I think each RB brings his own unique skill set and they compliment each other. Its good to be multi-dimensional.

Whilst there were a lot of check down passes last night, the value of such play can not be under-estimated. One, such plays mean opposing linebackers have to play close, opening up deeper options - and we all know Mason has the savvy veteran skills to beat most Corners.

Furthermore, although many of these gains were only 5-8 yards, don't rule out the chance of several of these turning into 30-40 yard runs. We have a great run blocking line; so if we can utilise screens efficiently, I can see Rice breaking off some long touchdown runs.

He runs with real authority and his low centre of gravity make him a nightmare to bring down. He reminds me of Maurice Jones-Drew (I know that's a bold comparison, I'm merely comparing body type and running style, not stats) and could become hugely valuable.

Just a query - has Rice ever returned kickoffs for us?

You're right, these are valuable plays. The Eagles use Westbrook similarly - short passes forcing the defense into covering the entire field. Why this is an issue for some is mind-boggling.
