I've been sayin this for a while now-if we can get Todd involved in the offense alot more, we could be a force to be reckoned with this year. I'm sure Coach Harbs and Cam will mix things up this year on offense. This offense looks so good its scary!!

I'd be happy to if I proved to all the stupid media outlets who were saying Heap is going to have a huge dropoff but then goes out and performs at pro-bowl level.

That one drop was pretty bad but he made up for it with two spectacular catches.

I was pretty upset with that dropped pass, only to be singing in delight as Mr. Heap reached the end zone. Flacco put it right there for him though, what a pass :D

Remember when Heap was basically the Ravens ONLY reliable pass catcher?

I thought that once Derrick Mason came to Baltimore, Heap would be even greater because the Ravens FINALLY had someone else to take pressure off of him. Unfortunately it just never worked out. Injuries, play calling, or for whatever reason.

Is this finally the year? Can the Ravens finally be the balanced and reliable offense that the defense deserved for so many years? I don't know about you guys, but I am very excited if Heap can continue to be a threat in the passing game!

Despite the drop Heap looked very good. The pass he caught in the second half between two defenders reminded me of the old Heap. If he can stay healthy, he could have a renaissance year.

This is the whole purpose of including a healthy Heap in the passing attack. With Mr.Reliable/Derrick Mason doin what he does, Todd Heap will add that extra push to our offense in terms off time of possession and scoring points.

Heap looked great last night! Im so excited everyone! With what Ive seen outta our offense this preseason most notably Joe Flacco, I am really starting to like our chances of overtaking Pittsburgh. I think we could sweep em. I really think we are a super bowl caliber football team. We have been a franchise quarterback away in the last ten years from talking about a Baltimore football dynasty and now we have one. We just might end up in Miami this year.

There's no question Cam knows how to use a tight end. Antonio Gates had some monster seasons with San Diego when Cam was their OC. With the improvements to the O line, Heap shouldn't have to stay in and block as much. Heap could put up some very nice numbers this year.
