Merged Flacco "reviews" From Panthers Game

I missed the third game for our starters and was curious how well he really did, 23/28 for 247 YDS and a TD seems pretty good, did we ever get stuffed in the red zone? Were they good throws or bad coverage?

Only saw the first quarter and a half, but he made a few real nice throws, some check downs, some short- and mid- range passes.
Not as amazing as the stats suggest, but he was incredibly effiecent and extended several plays with his feet.
Spread the ball around very well, always seemed to find the open man.

He was outstanding tonight.

He was every bit as amazing as the stats suggest...he let the receivers do the work, but he got the ball to them faster than the defense could react, and was incredibly accurate. What more can we ask for?

Yeah, actually he was as good as the numbers looked. A lot of people here know Flacco and Suggs are my man crushes, so dont pay any attention when I talk them up.

I am so pleasantly shocked at the Ravens Offense I don't know what to do with my self.

I share the sentiment. Its weird watching our QB drop back and feeling confident he will complete the pass...I love it.

Hey give Flacco his credit, he made a few good passes on his way to the ground too.

Flacco plays like a vet. He knows just what to do with the ball at a situation. Why dont Harbaugh tell him im not calling plays tonight. You call the plays yourself. Let see if Flacco is Smarter than Peyton Manning? Hell! nobody tells Manning what to do on the 2 minute drill. Thats how you make miracle comebacks.

I thought i was watching the patriots offense for a sec. That was the best performance from joe and our offense. Plus you should have seen D-mase schooling Gumble and that the saftey.

How could Flacco look this good if he doesn't have anybody to throw to?
Rice will put so much pressuer on defensives this year that Heap and WRs will have lots of space in the middle of the field. I can't wait until Clayton comes back.

Flacco improved so much towards the end of the year and it looks like he is just picking up where he left off. This offense will be really good.

He put up outstanding numbers through 2quarters. Peyton Manning type numbers! i was impresssed with the entire offensive unit. They look better each game.

He's definitely growing! There will be growing pains as well. But, to wonder if he'll be smarter than Peyton is equivalent to the comparison people were makin about Lebron being better than Jordan or Kobe. Its waaaaaay tooo early to start thinkin to that extreme!!! Lets see how he does in the playoffs again or if he can do sum come from behind victorys.

A bromance, eh?

Yeah, Flacco was everything you'd like to see out of a QB. The Panthers aren't quite what they used to be, having lost Mike Rucker, Kris Jenkins, etc., but they got decent pressure and Flacco met it just fine.

I think Harbaugh should turn him loose and see how he runs his own game plan. Dungy gave Manning all kinds of freedom. Why cant Harbaugh do the same with Flacco next week?

Haha yeah people really don't seem to realize our offensive weapons in the passing game. Derrick Mason amazing as always, Heap looked REALLY solid, Kelley Washington is emerging to show us a lot of good things, Ray Rice doing what we knew he could do. Can't wait to have Clayton back, he's going to have a lot more room to get open this year with our offensive weapons.

Flacco looked good but a lot of his numbers came from throwing it to ray rice, which is fine, but since it being pre season I wish he had trusted his wideouts more and tried to make big plays.

You just wait til Ravens get a speedy deep threat guy when Flacco throws those bombs. Right now Clayton and Mason just run patterns. Heap can pop up anywhere without anyone notice him amd Rice can catch passes too.
