I think It is time for Steve to clear house meaning Billick and his whole staff. This is an embaressment and I'm just not talking about this game. This is just salt added to a festering wound. McNair is to old, you might as well put Boller in cause he can turn the ball over just as well as Mcnair. As I write this McNair just through a pick for turnover number 5. Something has to be done, clean house to rebuild is the only option. I want to through up!!!!!!!!!

I agree 100%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

I never thought I'd say it, but I'd rather have Boller than McNair at the helm. I have a real fear that this will be the beginning of the end of the season for this locker room. The injuries killed em for sure, but the coaching is a disaster as well. Penalty after penalty, ugh always embarrased on national tv.

Did the Ravens give McGahee 40 mil to pass block and tote it only 12 times? Un F ing believable. The Ravens have exactly ONE player on offense who can take it to the house on any given play and he gets his number called 12 times, not to mention a concussion blocking during garbage time. Offensive genius my ACE.

im ashamed to be a ravens fan right now.

im not.

we had a really bad game no doubt but i'm stickin with my team. it can't get much worse than last night so maybe they'll just try things they haven't all year long. maybe we'll try our long ball more often to get a game-time feel of it, or we'll give it to McGahee more, or something. I just don't think we can get stomped much worse than that.

shows what happens when your starting two cornerbacks are out for a game against a tough division rival.

i was really hoping Rolle and C-Mac would be back, but unfortunately they weren't so we gotta live with the result.

OMG. What a whiner. Someone always wants to blame the refs for a loss. Go watch a Ravens victory, but as though you were a fan of the other team. Then come back and tell me how many calls went the Ravens way.

Blaming the refs is such a cop-out.

Me and Cap'n Morgan watched the entire game. I think Hochuli's crew did a pretty good job.

I never liked Ray Lewis, however on one of Ben's TD throws Ray nearly collided with his shins while falling/being blocked. Had it happened Ben could have been seriously hurt and no one could've said a thing about it because it would have been unintentional. Ray put forth every effort to miss him and miss him he did. I have to give credit where credit is due. Ray was "better than that" and as a football fan, I really appreciated seeing it.

With that out of the way: Will someone please explain to me why everytime a Raven (with the exception of Ed Reed) makes a tackle they act like it was the play of the century???

LOL I ain't here to rub it in but ok.. I have to admit.. that was pretty funny last night watching the game and noticing that too. I guess they were just trying to get themselves psyched up any way possible.

LOL...

You are absolutely right dude. But the ravens are not what you consider a "low profile" team. everybody gets hyped up from Ray Lewis pre-game chants and all that so they tend to get all hyped up after a tackle for a loss. The baltimore ravens feed on adrenaline. Other teams just do their job without really getting hyped up, but i guess thats them.

I do not know why grown men act a fool when they tackle someone at the line or for a loss, especially when you are down 21 to 0. If the score was reversed, then I can see the cockiness, but get real - yes I'm talking to you Bart Scott, act like you have been there before and it's business as usual. Don't get me wrong I think he is a hell of a good player, but get real - stop thumping your chest and lets not forget that there are 10 other TEAMMATES on the field with you.

I have read a lot of the post and I want to say a few things:

First, It is obvious our O-line needs some total revamping - one comment was that our rookie's did better than the starter's - you are exactly right, why? THEY HAD SOMETHING TO PROVE, THEY HAD TO PROVE THEY BELONG IN THE NFL. NOT THE STARTER'S, THEY'VE GOTTEN THEIR CONTRACTS. EVERY YEAR, EVERY POSITION SHOULD BE OPEN TO WHO EVER EARNS IT, REGARDLESS OF HOW GOOD YOU THINK YOU ARE. Odgen is done, granted he WAS one of the best O-Line men to play, but he is always 2-3 seconds behind in his pass blocking, by the time he gets started the DE is by him sacking the QB, whether it be McNair or Boller. It doesn't matter who we have at QB, if the O-Line doesn't block. Look at the high powered offenses - they all have enough time to go through their progression's and find an open receiver - not ours, they see someone who appears to be open only to find a LB lerking anticipating the INT.

Secondly, we let JL go and look at what he is doing in Cleveland, again I digress to the O-Line - no running lanes, no runs. This leads me to McGahee, who was portrayed to be one of the best RB's to take it outside and to the house, so far I have seen him do this ummm, twice. Again, not his fault - if the O-Line would block some ******* body, then maybe he could. But answer me this, why then do we continue to run between the tackles, why are we not running more outside plays, pulling the guards and tackles, why are we not running more screen plays, other than the WR screen which has never gained more than 2 yrds, why are we (when available) having 2 TE's on the line instead of putting one in the slot which would make an LB or DE cover him, why are we not spreading out the D with passes over 5 yrds. One reason is because we are getting out coached at every game. We are not a passing team, never have been, but for some reason Billick wants to pass, and only pass the ball 5-10 yards - you will never spread the D out that way and will have all 11 men in the box, forget trying to run the ball when that happens. Billick needs to release himself from calling the plays, let Rick call them - he works with them the most, I mean after all he is the O-C, right?

Thirdly, the defense - WOW - our secondary is suspect, they get burned all the time. Ivy, he's a joke at corner he needs to stay in the nickle package. All any one has to do is throw to the opposite side of the field that Reed is on. And to do this, pump fake and Reed will bite - happened all night long on Monday. Peyton and Brady are salivating waiting to play against our secondary. The only thing that we have to look forward to is Cmac and Rolle coming back, hopefully in enough time to help try and save the season.

So, where do we go from here - one more loss maybe two, cause 10-6 isn't going to get a WC in this division, and I say put all the rookie's back in, get them more playing time, put Troy Smith in get him snaps at real game time and maybe, just maybe have a shot at next season. The glass is always half full to me, but looking at the schedule ahead of them, I just can't see them making the run, most importantly not with the way the offense is playing. Can't win if you can't score.
